I called in to ESPN 10.40am and Alex Kennedy, a famous NBA reporter for HoopsWorld.com was a host on the radio show. I asked him about what this Corey Magette trade means for Tayshaun Prince and Austin Daye. He told me, "You could expect Tayshaun or Austin Daye to come available, and the Pistons may make another move before the draft, possibly by trading one of those guys." Then, I asked if Detroit will be more aggressive in free agency since they freed up a lot of cap space, and he said tht he thinks, from what he heard, that they WILL be much more aggressive. Just thought I'd share this with you guys!

Stanford Routt, who just over a week ago was released by the Oakland Raiders, has had interviews with the Bills, Chiefs, and the Bengals. Routt had a 2-day visit with the Chiefs so they may be the favorite, and Mike Flori reports that Routt will be making his decision in the next few days, so there should be some news here on ArrowheadPride about that. If Routt is signed by the Chiefs, then Free-agent-to-be Brandon Carr is supposed to not be re-signed then, although it is possible that they can both be on the roster. So, in the next couple days be on the lookout for news about Stanford Routt signing with most likely either the Buffalo, Kansas City, or Cincinnati.

Quinten Lawrence, was signed by the Miami Dolphins off of the Chiefs Practice Squad. Lawrence was drafted by the Chiefs in 2008, as a WR. He started once in his career in Kansas City in his rookie year, and then was a member of the practice squad. In the beginning of the 2011-2012 preseason, Lawrence was converted to a CB, and spent the entire season on the Practice Squad. Lawrence was now picked up by the Miami Dolphins. It'll be interesting to see how he is used on their roster, either as a WR or a CB. I always did think that he did have some potential, but Maybe I was wrong, or maybe I wasn't! We shall see...........
