I am transplant cubs fan living in Southern California. I really wish the Cubs had a team in the Cal league, but maybe I can see who potental trade prospects are before they become cubs. I can honestly say that my best birthday was and is spending a day as a bleacher bum. I still try and get back to Wrigley (Stadium?) as much as I can. I thank the inventor of XM radio for letting me hear Ron and Pat call the game. I was fortunate enough to live down the street from Harry Carry in Palm Springs, but I didn’t get to meet any of the family until I attended his funeral. I think that being over the century mark for being world champs is long enough, but at least no one I know can brag that they got to see that championship year.
