LET'S GO BEARS!!!!!

What did you all think of the first game this season? I thought it pretty much lived up to expectations--Cal had an outstanding offense, but not much defense. However, Cal seemed to be able to get stops when they needed to, which was good to see. Longshore looked pretty nice, and Jackson was nothing short of spectacular, but how about Forsett and the youngun Best? It's scary to think of the top wide recieving core in the nation together with some nice options at RB. 40ppg anyone? I like.

What did you guys see in the first game that you liked? What needs to be improved on? How about Cal's upcoming schedule? National Title condenders? How high do you think Cal jumped in the rankings? Discuss all CAL FOOTBALL topics in this diary!!!

Since this blog has a fanbase from all over the Bay Area, I was wondering if any of you guys currently attend UC Berkeley. I was just admitted there and I'm trying to figure out whether I should attend or not. What is it like? What's the bball team gonna be like next year and in the future? Is it hard to get acquainted with people there? Any help on my decision would be great!

Funny that our first matchup is versus the Spurs. They deserve a whooping after what they did to us last night.
