Few notes:

PUP players were put at the bottom of the depth chart. So please don't go jump off a bridge after seeing Bob Sanders listed as a third-stringer.
Antonio Johnson is the starter at NT over Daniel Muir. This shouldn't come as much of a surprise, considering most of us were very high on Mookie during the offseason to win the job. Whether it's Johnson, Muir, or even Taylor, I think the Colts are going to be very comfortable at the position this year. Also, we need to come up with a nickname for DT's now, providing they preform well. The Vikings have the Williams Wall, so what could the Johnsons be? The Juncture? Help me out here.
Robert Mathis has once again been inserted into the starting lineup over Raheem Brock. Personally, I prefer Mathis in a situational pass rusher role, but I doubt it will matter much come game time.
Chad Simpson is listed as the kick returner, ahead of T.J. Rushing. I had him written off my mock roster, but I guess he's going to stick.
Pierre Garcon is listed as the 3rd receiver, but I'm guessing that's subject to change, as is the entire depth chart throughout preseason.

Really good quote at the bottom of the article by Caldwell. It sounds like this defense is going to back to the style we saw in the 2006 playoffs and the beginning of the 2007 season: Hard-hitting, agressive, powerful, and most importantly, intimidating. Anything that Coyer and Caldwell do that gets the defense back to the style of play we saw in games like the season opener against the Saints or the 2007 game against the Patriots is fine by me.

Apparently one of Tyjuan Hagler's ex's went after him at 2:00 AM on Nov. 11, and now she faces battery charges. I must say, it's a little bit foreign to see a player as the victim for a change.

Training Camp Day 2 Observations

I was only around for the afternoon session, but here's what I saw at camp.

-I only saw Addai, Rhodes, and Hart taking snaps with the offense, which means to me that they will be the ones that make the roster. Hart is really small, but he pounds the ball hard and has soft hands out of the backfield. He got smashed by Freddie Keiaho mid-way through practice, which got a few people saying "Welcome to the NFL", but otherwise, he looked good. Rhodes actually looked slimmer and faster than before, and Addai was his fantastic self. This will definitely be a good group of RB's for the year.

-Marcus Howard is fast. I'm really excited to see what he brings to the table once the season starts. Ugoh and him were having some fierce battles, and he actually managed to get near Sorgi a few times. He's a keeper for sure.

-Pierre Garcon is making this team. He's a smooth route runner and really allusive. Sort of like a mini-Marvin.

-Sorgi really isn't terrible, I suppose. I noticed he always looks to his left first for the pass, and never managed to hit right in the numbers, but he was efficient nonetheless.

-I didn't look much at the O-line, but I only saw Charlie Johnson playing guard, never Pollak.

-I didn't see Clint Session anywhere, and Ramon Guzman was playing SAM with the first team. Not sure if anybody knows what was going on with that...

-Jacob Tamme looks a lot bigger and stronger than his measurables say he is. I don't see why people don't think he will able to block, he looked entirely capable to me.

-Roy Hall didn't impress me. He was tall, but looked a lot more sluggish than his 40 time would indicate. Giguere was a little disappointing too. The only receivers that caught my eye were Reggie, Marvin, Gonzalez, Garcon, and Aromashadu.

-I'll admit, I'm one of the many Tim Jennings haters, but I think he's really improved for some reason. He looked faster, more alert, and smarter as a CB. Same goes for Michael Coe, T.J. Rushing, and Brannon Condren. We're going to have an excellent group of DB's this year, believe me.

-One thing I always like to look for is who stays around after practice to do some individual drills. Garcon, Giguere, and Charles Dillon all stayed after to work with the ball machine, and Robert Mathis ran a few laps on the other side of the field. It may be insignificant to others, but to me, it shows how focused they are on making the team, or in Mathis' case, being the best player they can be.

That's all I can think of for right now. Any questions are welcomed though.

Gandy/Fletcher Released

Might have gotten lost in the big Marvin story, but Dylan Gandy and Bryan Fletcher have been released. This comes after only one day of Rookie camp. Polian and Dungy must really be happy with this OL and TE rookies for them to make such a bold move. I really expected them to take everybody into training camp and see who would step up before cuts were made, but apparently Polian had other plans.
