Grew up in New York. Undergrad at Grinnell in Iowa, then grad work at Oregon and Columbia U.
I root for all three schools' football teams, but only Oregon has a FOOTBALL TEAM.
I'm currently the only Duck fan in Ontario, Canada. It's a lonely life.

Masoli the Eskimo
A nice collection of Jeremiah Masoli highlights from the Edmonton Eskimos Web site. He's listed on their roster as a QB from Mississippi---but he seems to be wearing a big O in every highlight.
And the best one, nicely synched to the music, is the last. (Anyone know what the song is?)
I may be going to the Eskimos' August 10th game against Saskatchewan. Jeremiah is currently fifth on the QB depth chart, but I'm sure he'll have worked his way up to starter by then.

Wife grew up in Milwaukee. Lifelong Badger fan. Likes the Ducks, but not when they're playing Wisconsin. Owns drawers and closets full of Badger paraphernalia.
Me: Proud UO alumnus. Like Wisconsin, but not when they're playing the Ducks.
Marriage screwed whatever happens.
Quiet, non-vegan, does dishes, good with children and pets. Enjoys UO football, Wild Turkey 101, and classical, jazz and rock. No country or rap. Couch in the garage would be fine.

According to fanhouse.com, the UO-Auburn title game has become the most expensive ticket in U.S. sports history.
Pretty amazing.

Okay, maybe it doesn't have quite the same ring as "War Eagle!", but I thought you guys would enjoy seeing what one of the Photoshoppers on the UO site put together.
This gas chain just opened a station in my city. We're talking Canada, folks. And not B.C., just up the road apiece---I'm in southern Ontario.

Oddsmakers are annoyed because they can't set realistic betting lines on Duck games.

We don't actually have too many wolves in my neighbourhood, but I hope that this pic, courtesy of my cats, will serve as an emblem of the New Mexico game. (Just pretend that it's a Lobo.)
In future weeks I hope to use the same photo to represent Huskies, Bavers, Bears and certainly Cougars.
