I love watching the Heisman winner Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson but I'm gonna miss Roy Upchurch. It just won't look right next year without seeing Upchurch come in and making someone pay for trying to tackle him. Roy is one of the few runningbacks I have watched that look for people to hit. In the game against Virginia Tech this year he had a clear path to the endzone but he ran the guy over and made a point that we would not be denied. People like Roy Upchurch and Eryk Anders are what Alabama football is all about. They may not be the so-called superstar or get all the highlight reel plays but for one touchdown game winning play against Auburn Roy was the hero and on top of the world. In the National Championship game with the 4th quarter winding down our team was reeling, on our heels, and fading fast then BAM here comes Anders the guy no one talks about with a bone-crushing hit to force the fumble that saved the game. Years from now when we talk about this championship we will talk about McClain, Ingram, Cody, Arenas, and Richardson but we will also never forget guys like Roy, Eryk Anders, and Marquis Johnson. The role players who on separate occasions and games became the hero.

This guy is flying under the radar but Saban likes him so he must be pretty good. I don't know if Saban wants him for nose tackle or an o-line position but he would take up A LOT of space on either place.  His name is James Kimber from Selma, AL. We haven't offered him a scholarship yet but if we do I'm pretty sure he will sign with us he likes Saban a lot. Maybe this guy is our next Mount Cody. I've heard that James Carmon may be leaning to go somewhere else besides Bama but maybe we can get one of these guys.

Hello my name is Shane. I have been posting on the CBS message boards since FEB. of 2008 and it's pretty dead over there so I figured I would join this one and converse with all you Tide fans on here. My username on CBS is AlabamaTitans20 if anybody checks CBS I post often while I'm at work on there. I just found this site like a month ago, been reading a lot of everybodys posts and I gotta say fans on here have a lot more class than the ones on CBS and you guys are up to the minute with the new stories coming out about Alabama.
