Bynum vowed to continue to "expand his game" by taking shots from beyond the arc.

"I guess, 'Don't take 3s' is the message, but I'm going to take another one and I'm going to take some more, so I just hope it's not the same result," Bynum said. "Hopefully I make it."

Four Toros make the list: Johnson, Dentmon, Wright and Dawson. Former Spurs: Daniels, Ahearn, Larry Owens and Malcolm Thomas. Spurs might be more likely to pick up veteran help off the waiver wire, though Malcolm as a big and Ben Uzoh at PG are young and could make a future contribution.

This year's Rising Stars game during All-Star weekend rather than using the traditional Rookie vs. Soph format, the teams were chosen by "GMs" Charles Barkley and Shaq. Both Spurs players are on Team Chuck. Shaq seemed influenced by David Kahn in filling his roster with PG's.

Nice article. Ian should have chosen a team where he gets playing time rather than a finals team where he barely plays. Notes that Ian got more minutes in the playoffs with the Spurs than he has so far this year with Dallas.

Among the three games of the Top 16's second half, your 16 points helped beat Power Electronics Valencia away and everyone was talking about your three consecutive tip-ins in the fourth quarter. What do you remember about those plays?

You are leading the team in minutes, points, rebounds, blocks and three-pointers. Did you expect so much responsibility despite signing late?

While the Spurs do not seem to have made an announcement and at the moment he is still listed on their roster, Larry Owens has returned to the Tulsa 66ers and played in yesterday's game for them. He's been named to the D-League All-Star team.

"I’m sure that he’s frustrated and would love to be on the court," Popovich acknowledged. "At the same time he’s been a total team positive, working hard to be ready if called upon. He’s conducted himself in a totally professional manner."

Pounding The Rock Game Recap: Spurs/Timberwolves at the AT&T Center

While I am usually quite content to watch the Spurs games on television, my wife and I try to make it to a game once a year or so for the added experience.  Due to our schedules, that usually means a Sunday evening, and last night's game fit perfectly into our schedules.

With George Hill banged up, Neal should continue to see increased minutes, and may just keep this high rung on the Ladder.

Focus on the Spurs being in the midst of the eighth double-digit win streak of the Popovich Era? Or the fact that Duncan has five single-digit scoring games already? That didn't happen last season until March.

A lot of teams would try to use him in a specialty role as an offensive sparkplug focusing mainly on scoring due to how capable he is offensively. Not the Spurs. They see the potential in Anderson to be a complete player who is lethal on both ends of the court.

DeJuan Blair's a rebounding machine.

When Greg watched the night
That DeJuan tried to crush Hasheem's spleen.

At the same time, it's been reported on Project Spurs that the San Antonio Spurs might be interested in guard Milos Teodosic of Olympiacos. Could it be that the Greek League is becoming a less attractive place to play?

Cut on Friday by the Nets:

Where Zoubek does his best work offensively is by simply crashing the glass. He’s as dominant an offensive rebounder as any NCAA player in the past decade, save DeJuan Blair.
