Raised in Fullerton, living in Las Vegas.
One of my best memories is getting the chance to sell programs at Game Seven of the 2002 World Series - which was the very first postseason game I'd ever attended in any capacity. Yelling "ANGELS WIN!" at the top of my lungs while waving around $20 souvenir programs and celebrating with my fellow Angels fans was unforgettable.
Right up there was getting the chance to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before an Angels game wearing a Halos Heaven shirt.

OT: Angels Fan's Awesome App
RevHF Update: Alan Falcon is a long-time Site Member who once wore a Halos Heaven Tee Shirt when he took the mound for a ceremonial first pitch before an Angels game. While I am opposed to people pushing product here on the site, i am also supportive of people following their dream. Download the guy's app and spread the word, this guy is you and I, he bleeds 100% Halo.
Here is his APP: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/beat-boxes/id460798042
Here is his pitch...
I thought I would never do this. But here I am so I'm just going to get it out there.
Last year I had a baby and quit my awesome job at Blizzard because I wasn't making enough money to keep living in California if my wife was going to be able to stay at home with our newborn. We moved to Las Vegas and now live with my wife's father. I spent most of the past year starting a company and making an iPhone game, Beat Boxes, which I finally released late last year.

Angels Light-up Car Decal
I was watching Shark Tank because I've become a poor, starving entrepreneur and watching other people's really stupid ideas make them money makes me happy. One pitch was for a light-up car decal, which just sounded great, and now it's available as a licensed Angels decal for $25. If I wasn't a poor, starving entrepreneur then I'd buy one myself, but I'll have to live vicariously though someone else here taking the plunge.

VIDEO: HH Las Vegas Pinball Tournament
On a Summer day without baseball the Halos Heaven faithful trekked through the hundred degree Vegas heat to go enjoy America's other favorite pastime: Pinball! 10,000 square feet of pinball machines but our tournament focused on just five of them. I won't spoil who won the tournament, but you can check out the photo after the jump to see for yourself.
Rather than try to tell you about the experience, I put together a short video that will give you the best of the sights and sounds from Tom Arnold's Las Vegas Pinball Hall of Fame Pinball Museum!

Angels make a brand new acquisition....
Introducing our new Angels fan, baby Autumn... Born December 17th weighing in at a tiny 4 1/2 lbs, she's our little Eckstein-in-the-making! And she demands a championship in celebration of her first year of life.
Yankees Fans vs. Cliff Lee's Wife
Who wants to put on some Rangers garb and start spitting on Mrs. Lee in the World Series?
Regardless, good to see a player's wife actually try to dissuade her husband from going to New York.
1929 World's Series Press Pass
A great story, and what a find!
Bengie Molina vs. ESPN
Bengie writes that "ESPN's sarcastic depiction of me running in slow motion down third base and getting thrown out at home in the Marlins' game was hard to take."
A's Fall Apart, Angels Tied for First.
I hate to see all the injuries up in Oakland, but them's the breaks. We're tied for first.
The Yankees Payroll
The following is a screed about the Yankees payroll. It is, I think, something that is always bubbling below the surface of baseball (when you are not a Yankees fan). I rarely write about it because … it’s like writing about the heat in Phoenix. We all know it’s there, and we don’t really want to talk about it anymore. But with the Yankees winning the World Series and then talking about how it showed the team’s character, well, yeah, I thought maybe this once …
While Philadelphia players admitted the 11-month championship-winless streak has been difficult for them personally, most agreed that it's the fans who've suffered most, enduring more than 500,000 minutes without a World Series victory.
"Our fans are incredible," said left fielder Raul Ibanez, who was brought to the Phillies during the offseason in the hopes that he could help Philadelphia finally get back on the winning track. "If I were them, I would have given up on us weeks ago, after we lost our 69th game and failed to win the National League East by more than 10 [games]. But they stuck with us."
From the bottom of my heart, thanks everyone.
Sincerely: Thanks, everyone. I discovered this site during Spring Training and never felt more involved with the team ever since. I finally joined up on April 7th, figuring that with the season beginning I could add my voice to the fray.
Then tragedy struck, and boy it struck hard, deeply and personally. Rev, your Adenhart memorial post remains the most beautiful and eloquent thing I've read on the subject to this day. You guys, you helped me process my own emotions, and my own reaction to Nick's death. I wish I knew better how to express how much this helped me, but words fail here and so I can't even try.

Sporting News' AL Manager of the Year: Mike Scioscia
Colorado Rockies Manager Jim Tracy is the Sporting News' National League manager of the year.
Twins are out.
I remember earlier in the season, Rev predicted that we'd have one more series in the Metrodome, in October. Well, that will no longer come to pass as the Yankees completed their own ALDS sweep to set up the matchup Friday in New York.
Del Ninja on the mound!
Okay, so the pitch wasn't a good one, but Pettit caught it, and for that I'm grateful. And I got to wear my Del Ninja shirt on the mound at Angels Stadium -- Thanks for Cupie to getting it to me juuust in the nick of time!
Angels face possible discipline for calling out umpires
I guess the umpires went crying to the MLB home office after getting picked on by the Angels pitching and coaching staff?
I am Throwing Out the Ceremonial First Pitch
So my company is buying a lot of tickets to a Saturday game, September 26. As a result, apparently, the Angels have allowed them to select someone to throw out the ceremonial first pitch of the ballgame. To select this person, the company held an internal random drawing for all interested employees. And, amazingly, I was informed yesterday that I won said drawing. Wow.
So I guess if anyone wants to see a fellow HHer down on the field trying desperately not to make a fool of themself, you might consider being at the ballpark in a couple weeks.
The main part of this FanPost though is to ask the HH community for tips, advice, personal stories, etc. Anything you got on the subject, I'd like to hear it. Has anyone else had this opportunity? What was it like? Is my friend and co-worker going to be allowed on the field with me to get some closeup pictures? Will I kick myself later if I don't encourage my non-baseball-fan family members to come to the game? Should I be wearing Angels clothing? My company's clothing (it's certainly no lame company but I don't think I'm supposed to really go around saying where I work)? Some kind of hybrid? The cryptic "numbers" shirt? Del Ninja? Is it too late to order either of those and get them in time? Is this all some kind of messed up dream and I'll wake up and find out I won no such prize?
I'd love your thoughts. Please share! And hopefully I'll see you at the game!
