Lookout Landing Chris Young battling zombification

From Rotoworld:

Padres manager Bud Black says a crack in Chris Young's skull has to heal to ensure his brain doesn't get infected.

He also said that Young will need to have a "procedure" to repair his septum. Young still can't taste food and that his sense of smell hasn't returned. Black said it's too early to even begin talking about when Young might be able to start pitching again.

Lookout Landing Lupus: Living The Meme

I'm starting to feel like I'm trapped in a game thread. Why? Check out the main road round the corner from me:

Lupusstreetji1_medium

The funny thing is that I don't even watch House. Until a few days ago, all "Lupus" meant to me was "wolf".

Now I feel like I'm logging in to Lookout Landing every time I leave home and set off down Lupus Street on my way to work. I'm continually disappointed by the lack of new comments popping up from the kerb.

Lookout Landing Pro Baseball Spirits 4 (PS3 trailer)

Talk about wow.  Wow, and a woo for good measure.  Pure atmosphere on a disc.  Gotta love those celebration and dugout scenes.

On a side note, if Konami can make PS3 baseball look this good then I can't wait to see what they do with the next Pro Evolution Soccer :-).  Not that I'll be able to afford a PS3 any time soon, mind, but hey.

So, er, 300 characters then...almost there...yes that should do it.

Lookout Landing Gagne to Rangers according to Rosenthal

From Rotoworld:

The Rangers and Eric Gagne have reportedly agreed to a contract worth a guaranteed $8 million, pending a physical.

FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal confirms that the deal is close. It's quite a sum for someone who has thrown 15 2/3 innings in two years. Even if he doesn't recover all of his velocity, Gagne will likely be a fine closer if healthy. Still, it's not so much of an upgrade for the Rangers unless Akinori Otsuka can be moved for a quality starter.

Lookout Landing Kaz Matsui's new team: Colorado Springs (AAA)

Link

Ouch.  Whatever went wrong with this guy?  I remember seeing some clips of him in the MLB tour to Japan and he looked like a quality player on both offense and defence.  Then the moment he lands in NY he can't to either for toffee.  ALthough he did homer in his first AB of the season 3 years running, which is something I suppose...

Lack of ability at the highest level or NY doing strange things to people once again?
