i was going to just do a top 10, but there's just waaaaay too many prospects in the Toronto Org. to do that:

  4.  Anthony Gose

  5.  Jake Marisnick

  8.  Deck McGuire

  9.  Drew Hutchison

10.  David Cooper

11.  Adam Loewen

12.  Adeiny Hechevarria

13.  Mike McDade

14.  Carlos Perez

15.  Justin Nicolino

16. Chad Jenkins

17.  Marcus Knecht

18.  Zach Stewart

19.  Noah Syndergaard

20.  Aaron Sanchez

21.  Daniel Norris

22.  Adonys Cardona

Minor League Ball Post Their Peaks (Moose, Hoz, Myers)

Moustakas -- .320, 45 dbl, 40 hr, 130 rbi, 60 bb

Hosmer - .340, 50 dbl, 30 hr, 110 rbi, 100 bb

Myers - .325, 50 dbls, 30 hr, 120 rbi's, 80 bb

Toss in Butler and Gordon, and possibly Colon, and Robinson and you have a potentially great 1-7 -- and you have many of the top pitching prospects in baseball with Montgomery, Crow, Melville Dwyer, Duffy, Sample, and Lamb.  Honestly within about 5 years i could see KC winning divisions, and contending for them regulary.  I hope so, because those fans have certainly waited long enough to see a good team.

Minor League Ball KC Royals (w/ cheese) Top 10

this is quite obviously one of the best groups in the minors --- with plenty of high profile bats/arms spread throughout the minors, the long suffering fans of KC have something to get excited about... rather drool about.

 1.  Mike Moustakas

 2.  Eric Hosmer

 3.  Wil Myers

 4.  Mike Montgomery

 5.  John Lamb

 6.  Chris Dwyer

 7.  Christian Colon

 8.  Danny Duffy

 9.  Tim Melville

10.  Aaron Crow

what do some of you guys think?

Minor League Ball Tim Collins

i realize that due to his size (5'7",160) he is almost certainly destined to be a reliever which somewhat dimishes the luster, but ma gawd is this kid (20) hard to hit.

his career stats (in AA now):

14-9, 176 ip, 120 hits, 79 bb, 262 k's, 10 hr allowed.

Minor League Ball Hypothetical (Jays top 30) if they deal Halladay

so lets say the Jays trade Doc to the Phillies for the rumoured package of:

Kyle Drabek
Michael Taylor
Carlos Carrasco
Jason Donald

lets also take for granted that all of this years draftees sign their minor league contracts. what would our TOP 30 PLAYERS NOT CURRENTLY IN THE MAJORS look like after that? in my opinion, we'd be top 3 in the league, and it would look something like this:

1. Travis Snider
2. Kyle Drabek
3. Michael Taylor
4. JP Arencibia
5. Carlos Carrasco
6. Chad Jenkins
7. James Paxton
8. David Cooper

9. Brad Mills

10.. Moises Sierra
11. Brian Dopirak
12. John Tolisano
13. Tim Collins
14. Jason Donald
15. Danny Farquhar
16. Justin Jackson
17. Kevin Ahrens
18. Jake Marisnick
19. Jake Barrett
20. Eric Thames
21. Tyler Pastornicky
22. Darin Mastroianni
23. Balbino Fuenmayor
24. Kenny Wilson
25. Johermyn Chavez
26. Brad Emaus
27. Eric Eiland
28. Carlos Perez

29. Gustavo Pierre

30. Trystan Magnuson

Others Notables:  Markus Brisker, Santiago Nessy, Michael Crouse, Gari Pena, Ryan Schimpf, Ryan Goins, KC Hobson, Brian Jeroloman, Alan Farina, Egan Smith, Henderson Alvarez, Joel Carreno, Mike McDade, Bobby Bell, Adam Loewen, Luis Perez, Kenny Rodriguez, Scott Campbell. Fabio Castro.

this could even be the best minor league system in baseball.

what number would YOU put this group?

Minor League Ball Tyson Gillies

Lets have a look at this underrated, rarely mentioned 20 year old Canadian who's quietly having one of the better seasons in the High-A ball.  Gillies has put up intriguing numbers across the board, especially for a centerfielder.

295 ab's, .325, 8 doubles, 9 trips, 6 hr, 26 rbi's, 45 walks, 55 k, 23 sb, 12 cs, .911 ops.

Lots of pop and speed, and an above average at the plate.  Obviously the speed helps tremendously in CF.  It will be interesting to watch his progression.
