Getting Jumped in the Polls
Given the huge margin of victory that No. 4 USC (53 points vs. 39 points for Texas) had as well as the higher quality of opponent (San Jose St vs Louisiana-Monroe), is it possible USC jumps us in the polls?
Similarly, given No. 5 Alabama's win over No. 7 Virginia Tech, is it possible Alabama jumps us in the polls?
Finally, I disagree that OU's loss is inconsequential. If there are more than two undefeated teams -- or no undefeated teams and multiple one loss teams -- quality of competition will be critical, in which case a lightly regarded OU (and by extension Big 12) may again leave us outside looking in.

Deja Vu Bowls
In the strange way this season has developed, the bowls may have an oddly familiar sense about them: the Deja Vu Bowls.
OU and Texas Tech win today, OU loses to Missouri -- Texas v. USC for MNC (although neither won their conference)
Florida loses to FSU but beats Alabama -- Florida v. tOSU
Oregon State wins -- Oregon State vs. PSU
. . . improbable, but stranger things have happened

watching college football over the internet
I live in Argentina, where of course there is no local or cable coverage (including ESPN, which essentially presents only soccer for its Latin American programming).
Will someone please tell me how I can view college football games over a high speed internet connection (which worked very well via a CBS feed for the NCAA basketball tournament, which itself was a tip from helpful BONers).
Many thanks,

secondary
Several mock NFL drafts have Griffin and Ross going in the first round. See, for example, http://www.footballsfuture.com/2007/nflmockdraft.html
Accordingly, two questions:
- given the level of talent, why was our secondary level so poor last season?
- given the level of talent we are losing, is there any legitimate hope that next season will be any better with regard to the secondary?

2007 narative
Many people are suggesting that McCoy sit out the 2006 bowl game, and perhaps that is the right call. But given -- foolishly -- that the 2007 pre-season rankings will be significantly influenced by the 2006 final polls, and that the pre-season polls have a significant correlation with the end of regular season polls, to what extent is UT benefitted by making its best effort to win its bowl game to better position itself for the 2007 rankings?
In other words, is it worth risking McCoy to (perhaps) enhance our 2007 pre-season ranking?

Big 12 killing us
I am frequently critical of UL and WVa, as the only currently ranked teams they have played hitherto are each other.
BUT, as I look at the human polls, it is possible that the only team we will have beaten that will be ranked at season's end is OU. In other words, there is a legitimate chance that Nebraska, Missouri (even assuming we play them in the championship game), and A&M all finish the regular season out of the rankings.
Accordingly, two questions:
- even if we win out, will our SoS allow us to play for the MNC?
- BCS methodology aside, even if we win out do we deserve the MNC shot above a one loss team from the Pac 10, Big 10, or SEC?
