Stephen Jones interview about the draft

1

More great stuff from the mothership. This is a long interview that Stephen Jones had with dc.com about the draft, etc. It's about 40 min. in length.

Mash Up of our 2012 NFL Draft Class

If you haven't seen the videos and/or audio of the phone calls made to our draft picks, dc.com has put together this collection from the draft. It also starts with a quick snippet of Stephen Jones on the phone during the process of trading up to Pick 6.

One player away?

Hypothetically speaking, if this story is true, then it's pretty telling on why we traded up for Claiborne and how the front office views the team as a whole. I'm not saying it's true, but it does make sense. Jerry has said many times that he's an optimist so he's more likely to see the heights this team could reach as opposed to the lows.

Tyrone Crawford is the Right Kind of Guy

This article from dc.com helps to underscore the type of players JG wants on this team. It gives some interesting insights about where Crawford comes from and who he is. Further proof that this team is adding not just talent, but character as well.

This is a very insightful audio clip of our Director of Scouting talking about our draft picks. If the above link doesn't work, try this one here.

How the deal for Claiborne went down

+

This is an interesting article because its written from the Rams point of view (the team we traded with for the #6 pick). I know Dave already linked to a similar article on his latest post, but I found this one more enlightening because it also relates to Michael Brockers, a prospect that was previously linked to us before the draft.

TNew signs with Bengals

I think it's funny how some of the Bengals fans were making fun of the Cowboys for signing G Nate Livings, yet their team signs TNew. Haha!
