I'm a student at K-State, and have been following Wildcat sports my whole life. That's pretty much it.

I have something great to reveal!
This is a little over the top, but it's great! Also, true, I think.
It takes a while to load up, but it's well worth it.
Rece Davis on Gameday in Manhattan
Rece's thoughts on Saturday.
"What a scene Saturday morning when a GameDay-record 8,169 people piled into Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan, Kansas. The crowd was electric, responsive and easily moved into the upper echelon of stops in our five-plus seasons on the road."
Recovery
Crap, that game on Saturday just about killed me. I had given up hope with 2 minutes left until our guys decided it would be nice to come back and act like they were gonna pull it off, just to make it feel a little worse. So, basically all of Saturday night and Sunday I was trying to find ways to pull myself out of that funk. I started with the, "Thank God there's no possible way Pullen will ever shoot that bad again," and then I remembered how much of a momma's boy little twirp Travis Ford is and praised the EMAW Gods that we have Frank instead, discussed with my dad about when we were good back in the day and had a loss (specifically the one to KU in the '88 regional final) he would be depressed for a couple days. But here is where I arrived: I would rather have our players and suck, then have to root for the morons KU puts on the floor.
Really, how cool are these guys...
Sports Center Not Top Ten-We're Number 8

A quote from Curtis Kelly, "It kinda hurts," Kelly said. "I don’t think the fans deserve it. I don’t think the students deserve it. I just hope they forgive us." Try and tell me that guy hasn't bought in yet.
So fellow K-State fans, we're good and its gonna hurt when we lose, but they're so lovable I'll forgive em. And I'll even forget if they come out and get the win on Gameday.
Frank on Texas, Bobby Knight, and Contract Negotiations
We're all a little freaked about Coach not having a sufficient contract for the long run. Hopefully the 01/21 podcast from Nick Wright eases your minds. Frank says, he wants to be here and John wants him to be here. Sounds like they have a good relationship to me.
A Wal Mart Story
Ok, so this is completely random but it made me laugh so hard I just can't resist. The fiancee, Kelsey, and I were walking around the grocery section of walmart here in Manhattan today and Jacob Pullen walked by on his cell phone. I whispered to Kelsey that it was Pullen and, as expected, she turned beat red and got completely nervous but wanted to follow. (This is mostly because she has a ridiculous crush on Denis and thought he would be there too) Sooo, I let her be creepy for a bit, then we saw Curtis Kelly as well. I got her calmed down to focus on finishing our shopping and we were heading toward a corner to the registers. I noticed Pullen and Kelly coming around our way again over the top of some clothes racks, along with Kelsey getting red and nervous again. So we kept walking and when we go to turn the corner I was looking right into the eyes of Jamar Samuels, looking UP at me from a motorized shopping cart for handicapped people. And then, there is Jordan Henriquez Roberts right behind him with his legs sticking straight out because the dude is so massive.
I always thought if I saw these guys on campus I would feel so small, but instead, the way Jamar was looking at me, I thought I should help him find his mother.
Pullen now K-State's point of light
Great article on Pullen's role of developing into a team leader. There's also some sweet info on possibly having free beards on Big Monday
