I've always liked this piece of memorabilia. I got it signed by Scioscia, Salmon, Washburn (at spring training this year!), and Shields. The weird thing is, it keeps score on here, but it shows Kenny Lofton's last at bat flying out to center field in the 7th, when we all know Rory Markus's call(here's the pitch to lofton...). Does anyone know how to keep score this way?

So, I was bored on the internet the other day and i found this thing called the wayback machine. It shows older versions of current websites. I typed in mlb.com and went Oct. 28th 2002, and it was pretty awesome. I also found press conference coverage of the Mo vaughn signing XD, and tons of other cool stuff. The oldest angels website is from 98, but if you type in the dodgers in goes all the way back to 1996!

Okay, maybe I'm stating the obvious, but who else in the game has ticked you off more than this guy? Mr. Boras routinely makes average ball players who are nice guys look like greedy money hogs, and in this economy, it especially does not look good for them.

The Angels (and no doubt other teams) are tired of his selfish tactics.

I suppose he does what an agent is supposed  to  do , but isnt he going a bit far?

he may have ruined the angels chances at tex, too.

Yahoo Japan has reported that we are interested in Kenshin Kawakami,  a 33 year old right hander from Japan. The article from the Angels website says he has the best cut fastball in Japan, and has won the Sawamura Award, which is basically a Cy Young. I think we should take a chance on him. It says he would probably cost about 6-7 million, almost half of what Garland cost us (12 million) last year.

Brandon Connette, quarterback for Corona Santiago, should be on our radar. This kid is for real. Not only did he pass for 1108 yards and 10 touchdowns(eleven picks), but he ran for 750 yards and 10 touchdowns. As shown in this video, he is good at evading trouble and making something out of it. His INT rate may be a little bit high, but at least 4 of those interceptions came in one game. He is a junior.

USA Today finally doesn't show hardly any bias, ranking the Angels as the number two run team in the bigs, behind-- who else, the Red Sox. I sadly have to agree with this analysis, as the Angels and Red Sox have been neck in neck for the last five years (which is what the rankings are based on), except for the most important category-- titles. I think that if we beat them one of our last two playoff series against them, we could've topped them on this list.

In case anybody was wondering, the Yankees got 4th and the Dodgers 5th. Another two years with two world titles should put us over the top :).

According to MLB.com, the Sox want to host the game for the 100th anniversary of Fenway Pahk. They deserve it I suppose, for that reason. Hey, I hate the Red Sox (with a passion) as much as the next  guy, but i will admit the have an awesome ballpahk(enough new england accent for you?). Anyway, the game was last their in 99. i say we try to win the series the year before the game is their to get more angel players in and mike scioscia can manage.
