Growing up in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan I didn't have a home town team, but the brilliance that was Patrick Roy guided me to Habs fandom as a young kid.
After spending 18 years split between Saskatchewan and Alberta, I left for Montreal for university after graduating high school. From there it was only a matter of time until I began writing about the Canadiens.
After a year of sparse posting on a blogger account, former site manager Robert L asked me to come to Eyes on the Prize just as he was stepping down and passing the torch to Kevin van Steendelaar.
The last two seasons contributing here has seen the site grow from most posts getting almost no comments, to game threads getting over 500 comments, and becoming one of SB Nation's strongest NHL sites.
I'm thrilled to take on this new role as managing editor for Eyes on the Prize, as I hope the site will become an SB Nation powerhouse in the years to come.
