I'm a lifelong soccer fan and a passionate Timbers fanatic since the 2007 campaign, having been a more casual fan since 2002. Portland has been my home for over a decade now, and in addition to its unmatched soccer culture, the area's incredible food, beer and natural beauty have contributed to my happiness.

John Spencer will Rise Again

My take on the renewed drama surrounding the crumbled relationship between John Spencer and Merritt Paulson, and why I think John Spencer will come back and be a successful coach someday.

Postscript: Another Comeback Draw

2013 is quickly becoming the year of the draw, as the Portland Timbers continue to fall behind early but somehow find the mettle to pull back level.

Postscript: Cascadia Comeback

Rodney Wallace comes in off the bench and makes all the difference for the Timbers, as they start their defense of the Cascadia Cup with an away point.

Cascadia Cup: Get on the Bus

Tickets are still available for this weekend's Cascadia Cup clash in Seattle. Get on the bus!

Postscript: Porter's First Loss

The Portland Timbers once again controlled possession and created a plethora of shots, but, also once again, they were undone by weakness and poor communication at the back.

Danny Mwanga Appreciation Thread

Best wishes to our favorite tongue-wagging, hip-swaying, arm- ... cavorting, former striker!
