I am originally from Southern California and have been an Angels fan since 1978. They were my first favorite sports team and I have stayed the loyalist too. I am a family man now, married to wife Cori, and have three kids and one on the way in July, 2009, will be our third daughter and one son. On my first date with Cori we actually drove all the way to Seattle, about three hours from Oregon City, to see the Angels play the Mariners, it was both our first visit to their new Safeco Field. It was a pitcher's duel with the Angels losing 1-0. That was April, 2002, and the Angels ended up winning their first World Series that season, so I knew she was the girl for me.

We love family trips camping, hiking, biking, playing on the beach, movies, bowling. I love watching all sports, photography, writing, reading sports biographies, playing games online, etc.

I've unfortunately, only been able to attend one Angels game in Anaheim in 1989 and they lost to Nolan Ryan in his return with the Texas Rangers, 3-0. I've seen them win in Oakland and Seattle.

I would love to see the Angels break their division rival Seattle Mariners record of 116-wins and become the best American League's single-season team winning at least 120 in one season and another World Series title.

Halos Heaven one win down 119 to go!

Spring hasn't officially started until the Angels complete their first home game.  Great start to the season with a 3-0 win over division rival Oakland.  Their first opening day shutout in 35 years!  I was glad ESPN covered it as I watched it from home.  Joe Saunders pitched an excellent game and could become the ace of the staff, unfortunately we are starting the season with injuries again to key starters. I hope John Lackey and Kelvim Escobar can come back soon.  It is better to get injuries out of the way in the beginning of the season, so the team can be at full strength at the end of the season when it counts.  Good to see Bobby Abreu have a good first game with the Angels.  He will help us forget all about that Teixiera guy.  Good to see Brian Fuentes in his return to California get his first save for the Angels.  He will do great replacing Rodriguez.

You're probably wondering what my title means?  I challenge the Angels to win 120 games this season!  We have the talent to do it, we can't let our division rival Seattle Mariners continue to hold the best American League single-season record with 116 wins.  I'd be happy if we break it with 117, but I say go for 120.  I challenge Manager Mike Scioscia to motivate his team with the goal.  Win them for their longtime fan in Oregon.  I will continue to pray for the team's health and continue to root from afar, hopefully catch a game when you come to Seattle.

GO ANGELS, another World Series championship, 2009!
