I was born and raised down here in central Illinois. I graduated from the University of Illinois in '99 and have been working at the UI since 2001. So, while I'm an Illini, I am definitely a HUGE Lions fan. I got hooked on Barry & the '91 Lions team back when I was a kid and grew up loving the Lions ever since. I loved Barry, the leapin' Lions logo, the uniforms, the Thanksgiving day tradition, Herman Moore, Robert Porcher, Chris Spielman, etc. etc. - I pretty much loved all those players from the 90's. We're obviously on hard times over the past decade, but no matter how much grief I suffer from everyone down here for being a Lions fan, I can't help it - I still love my Lions and always will. They've been my team for too long to turn back now, I wouldn't change a thing. Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope our new regime gets things going in the right direction.......Stafford to Johnson for the next decade baby!!
