AnishB15's All Miami Dolphins NFL Mock Draft

A Miami Dolphins fan takes a look at a possible mock draft for the Dolphins. He talks trades and all seven rounds ahead of next month's NFL Draft.

NFL hands out this year's compensatory picks

The NFL has handed out this year's crop of compensatory picks. For anyone who doesn't know, compensatory picks are extra draft picks given to teams that lost either a lot of free agents, or some very talented free agents the year before. Teams can not trade the compensatory picks in any way. The formula is complicated, but that's just a basic overview. In total, 32 picks were handed out to 15 teams, with the raiders receiving the most (a 3rd rounder, 4th rounder and 5th rounder) for losing Nnamdi Asomugha, Zach Miller and Robert Gallery. The Dolphins did not receive any this year, and had received a 7th round selection last year. Check the link for the full list.

Hey cowboy fans, dolphin fan here. Were having a community mock draft back at the phinsider, aned I've been assigned as the "GM" of the cowboys. I have a few questions for you guys. 1. I know you guys want david decastro, but he may be gone. If so, would you guys prefer peter konz or cordy glenn in the 1st? If neither, who else would you guys like in the 1st round 2. Since its a multiple round deal, what are some other positions where you need starters, and where do you need depth? Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions, I will do my best to get you the best players possible

Hey Bengals fans, Dolphins fan here. I have a proposition for you guys. Let's say we are picking at number 8 and Trent Richardson is available. I know you guys need a major rehaul of you backfield and that you may be interested. Here is our offer for you. We give you the number 8 overall pick, along with our 5th rounder and WR Brian Hartline. For those of you who don't know about Hartline, I believe he will excel as a complement to AJ Green. He is a great number 2 reciever that can also play a slot role. He doesn't have elite speed, but is quick and is nicknamed "The Magician" because he catches almost every sideline pass thrown to him. He isn't going to get you a lot of yards after the catch, but he has enough speed to make CBs respect it. He is young at 25 and has a lot of upside. He is worth a 3rd or 4th round pick In return, would you be willing to send us both of your 1st round picks?

My Mock Offseason

endurance football

football taking over all around the world

Not dolphins related, but football related and very interesting. I don't know if it will work out, but I hope it does. And 52 teams by 2022? Dang!

FA suggestion- How about Brandon Chillar, former nickel ILB for the packers. He plays very good in coverage and can give us quality depth at ILB, something we sorely lack. He is very cerebral and was cut in the offseason due to injury, which he seems to be recovering from well. Thoughts?

What could have been - Power ranking the rookie QBs

My qb plan fo this offseason: 1. Do not resign henne, moore is just as good, if not better. This leaves 4 qbs, Moore, Rosenfels, Losman, Devlin 2. In the draft, get RG3 in the first. In UDFA, many analysts expect Kellen Moore to be an UDFA, if available, sign him, if not, then sign Jacory Harris. This gives us 6 qbs. 3 Early in training camp, determine whether Rosenfels or Losman are better, keep the better one and release the other. This leaves 5 qbs. 4. Through training camp, determine whether devlin still has upside and if he could be a backup right now. If he does, then cut Losman/Rosenfels, if not, release Devlin. If he doesn't have upside and can't be developed, he is deadweight, and that's something we need to get rid of. This leaves 4 qbs, RG3, Moore, Losman/Rosenfels/Devlin, KMoore/Harris. 5. Over preseason, determine whether or not Losman/Rosenfels/Devlin are good enough to warrant a roster spot. If Losman/Rosenfels beat out Devlin, but don't warrant a 3rd string spot, then release them. If Devlin beat out Losman/Rosenfels and doesn't deserve a 3rd string spot, then he will compete with KMoore/Harris for a practice squad spot, and the best of the young guys gets a PS spot. 6. Start Moore to begin the season, and then have him give way to RGIII. If Moore or RG3 get injured, promote KMoore/Harris/Devlin from the PS.

The 2nd choice - Top 10 qb options after Luck

My early mock draft (I understand its still october, but the season's over, so might as well). Also, this is assuming we have the number 1 pick Trades: We lost a 6th and got a 7th in the Bush trade, I think we trade Marshall for a 2nd, 3rd and 6th to St. Louis (who will be picking in the 5-15 range) 1st-Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford (who else?) 2nd-Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame (good replacement for marshall, big physical reciever, good hands) 2nd-Nate Potter, LT/RT, Boise St. (Trusted with protecting Kellen Moore's blindside, should be able to transition to RT) 3rd-Markele Martin, S, Oklahoma St. (good safety to help our weak secondary) 3rd-Rokevious Watkins, RG, S. Carolina (develops behind Vern for a year before starting) 4th-Brandon Boykin, CB/KR, Georgia (develops behind will allen, eventually takes over nickel duties, solves KR problem) 5th-Rhett Ellison, TE, USC (good blocker, good reciever, good no. 2 behind Fasano) 6th-Chris Jacobson, LG, Pittsburgh (depth behind Incognito) 7th-David Pickard, LT/LG/RT, S. Illinois (versatile depth) 7th-Nathan Stupar, OLB, Penn State (adds depth, may take JT's spot if JT retires) 7th-Micanor Regis, DT, Miami (depth if we move to a 4-3)

any thoughts

Announcing a new ship on the luckfleet. I have decided to give up my vice captaincy of the landry jones bandwagon, to create the battleship RGIII "Robert Griffin," the silver medal battleship of the luckfleet. I will need a crew to join me though. You know this ship is perfect for those who would love to have Andrew Luck, but would like RGIII if we can't get luck.

Rumor has it that henne may need a season-ending surgery, and matt moore will be the starter for the rest of the season. This means we will be looking for a backup qb, probably one who has experiance with the team in the past, and I doubt they make devlin the second stringer. Bo you guys understand what this means. TOM BRANDSTATER MAY BE COMING BACK TO MIAMI!!!! THE GREAT ONE IS RETURNING, OUR SEASON IS SAVED!!!
