My wife and I went to the Leafs game yesterday and it was AWESOME!!!!

Here's a quick recap of the trip:

- Train from Kingston (1st Class, thank you work-related rewards points) Saturday morning. Wearing green Leafs T-shirt.
- Check into Royal York at noon
- Hockey Hall of Fame at 1 p.m. I recommend people go there soon as they have a special exhibit showcasing Olympic medals from every games ever held (modern games only of course). They also have the loonie that was under the ice at the Olympics in 2002 in Salt Lake City and you can touch it for good luck (note - does not work with 6/49 tickets). Wearing black Leafs practice jersey with Kaberle name/number on back.
- Lunch at some burrito place (not recommended as I found out a couple hours later)
- Back to the Royal York so prego (aka the wife) could rest for a while.
- Supper at the Loose Moose (thanks PPP for the tip, place tuned out to be pretty good) I recommend the Chili Cheese Fries.
- Back to Royal York to put on away Leafs jersey with Clark name/number on back.
- Off to the ACC for the game.
1st Period: moment of silence for Brendan Burke and family - you could have heard a mouse fart in that place; I told my wife before the game started that Orr and Carkner would fight in the 1st ten minutes, I was right and it was epic; period ended and the Leafs were kicking ass!
1st Intermission: bought 50/50 tickets and watched people walk by me as waited outside the women's washroom for prego.
2nd Period: same as the 1st basically, Leafs kicking more ass but with less Senators skating around being held up by teammates and wondering where the fuck they were.
2nd Intermission: called friend on phone who is a Sens fan and taunted him while prego was in bathroom again. Hung up phone, got sick of waiting for prego and went downstairs to Burkies Dog House for a footlong southern BBQ dog (meh, why the hell do they put coleslaw on top?). While I was waiting in line to order Steve Dangle walked by, that was cool. Went back upstairs to seat and got dirty look from prego for taking off on her.
3rd Period: Leafs continue ass kicking; I don't win the 50/50 draw (which was over $10000); best part of 3rd was when one of @LeafspaceMonika's assistants came over and gave me 2 free t-shirts (potvin and bower), a kids Carlton toque, and a Leafs puck - I Tweeted Monika last week and told her our seat numbers hoping she'd pick us for the "Movin' On Up" contest, but we didn't win - this was pretty good though, so thanks Monika, you Rock!; the crowd goes nuts during the 3rd period and starts a wave that didn't want to end, it went around like 12 times.
- The game ends, Kessel, Schenn, Giguere get the 3 starts and we head back to the Royal York; Prego has a Diet Coke, I order 3 Bud Light from room service and life is good.
- Sunday at noon, we take train back to Kingston, and I'm proudly wearing my new Monster t-shirt.
