He has previously written for Bleacher Report as a Featured Columnist and has spent two summers interning with the Erie SeaWolves (AA Detroit Tigers). He is currently employed as a Student Assistant at SIDEARM Sports and the Upstate New York Regional Correspondent at Stadium Journey.

In his free time, Andy not only blogs for TNIAAM, but he is a member of Starship NEXIS at Syracuse University studying advanced baseball statistics and Pitch f/x data in relation to pitch framing and player evaluations. He also is in attendance for every SU game and will probably die of a heart attack when the Pirates win the World Series.

Report from Boeheimburg: The Campout For G-Town

I decided to take a visit to Boeheimburgh Tuesday night after they set camp for the Georgetown game. I came away with great video and a slight cold. Here's the video footage with some vintage Rob Murphy sprinkled in.

Syracuse Lacrosse Ready to Take On "The Army"

So the Albany game wasn't pretty. Syracuse got slid down to 18 in the rankings and for the first time in a looooong time, face a hole after week one. Things don't get any easier this week as Army comes to the Carrier Dome on Sunday.

Cuse Lax falls in 2OT to Albany 16-15

The Thompson Trio of Terror single handedly defeated the Orange in a double overtime thriller. The Orange could not capture the magic that led to a furious fourth quarter comeback while in overtime, and in the second extra frame, Cuse finally fell.

Cuse Lax 2013 Preview: Return to Tradition?

After double header scrimmages and talk of new rules, the 2013 Lacrosse season is about to get underway for the Syracuse Orange. Returning an experienced team, do they have what it takes to return to the the Final Four for the first time since 09?

Southerland's Back! Do We Go To Atlanta Now?

Southerland is back! Huzzah! That according to talking heads who only watch Syracuse when they're paid to, is enough to vault Syracuse a lot closer to that handful teams people can imagine cutting down the nets in April. Can we really though?

Cuse Lax Wins Doubleheader, Bus Loses.

Ho-hum Syracuse men's Lacrosse keeps winning opening season scrimmages against mediocre opposition. This time, the Orange crushed Robert Morris and took out No. 19 Ohio State. Oh and John Desko will never ever ever take a long bus ride again.

Cuse Lax Ready To Move On Without Galasso

Syracuse Lacrosse is ready to move on without star transfer Nicky Galasso. Look for new faces to play meaningful minutes this season and for these new faces to be on the younger side of Junior Pat Powderly.

Cuse Lax Dominates Scrimmages, Quotes and Recap

Syracuse opened it's 2013 conquest of the Lacrosse world with a doubleheader scrimmage, defeating Hofstra 15-10 and following that with a 16-6 defeat of Holy Cross. At least one Orange team remembered how good it is...

Is MCW The Third Best Player In The Country?

Michael Carter-Williams is third on the ESPN Wooden Watch list. I'm not a big fan of that. So I decided to write him a letter on behalf of you and I.

Cuse Lax Ready for Scrimmage, Rules and Big East

Ahead of their scrimmage this weekend, the Syracuse Lacrosse team was around long enough to chat up. Head Coach John Desko, JoJo Morasco and Brian Megill all had great things to say about new rules and the Big East conference rankings.

Syracuse Lacrosse to Play Virginia March 1 at 6PM

Pretty sure this isn't headline worthy news, so I'll throw it here in case anyone is super interested. Syracuse Lacrosse has confirmed today that Number 5 Virginia will travel to The Carrier Dome...

Syracuse Success Now = Ring Now? Maybe...

Saw just how successful the Orange have been of late. Blew my mind. It's true. It's crazy. Without a ring (I know we've heard it before) there is no validation. Soooo....Do we need a ring this year? Can we get a ring this year?

Losing Southerland Isn't As Bad As Losing Fab

Naturally, with James Southerland's suspension less than a year after Fab found himself at Chuck's watching games, the two are going to be compared. I figured most people have already started but let's put a pretty little bow on it, shall we?

Cpt. Obvious: Syracuse At A Football Crossroads

Syracuse Football is moving to a new conference with a new coach who is taking one of the best recruiters to the NFL. It's pretty obvious Syracuse is at a football crossroads, but just how big is this crossroads?

Inside Perspectives On The Doug Marrone Move

Different opinions on the Doug Marrone move you probably already knew but should look over again.

What The Marrone Saga Means For Syracuse Football

We all know Doug Marrone is connected to the NFL Coaching Roulette now. In reality, I think this entire process says more about Syracuse University than it does Marrone. Here's why.

How the Schwartzy Should Be Up for Grabs

Listen, we all want the Schwartzwalder Trophy to be on the line in the Pinstripe Bowl. It officially isn't but that doesn't mean it still can't be. Say what?! Here's my idea...

Syracuse Draft War Room: Who's The Wild Card

With the regular season complete, it's time for NFL Scouts to start honing in on collegiate players ready for the next level. Next up... the Wild Cards

NFL Draft War Room: Shamarko Thomas

With the regular season complete, it's time for NFL Scouts to start honing in on collegiate players ready for the next level. Next up... Safety #SHAMARKO Thomas

NFL Draft War Room: Alec Lemon

With the regular season complete, it's time for NFL Scouts to start honing in on collegiate players ready for the next level. Next up... WR Alec Lemon

Syracuse Orange NFL Draft Profile: OT Justin Pugh

Syracuse Players on draft radars. You want to know where your favorite Orange Man is going to be playing next season, we here at TNIAAM are ready to help you out. Next up in the War Room: OT Justin Pugh

Syracuse NFL Draft War Room: Ryan Nassib

With the regular season complete, it's time for NFL Scouts to start honing in on collegiate players ready for the next level. A handful of Syracuse players have been on scouts' radars and it's time to break down their chances. First up: Ryan Nassib.

Doug Marrone to the NFL? Not Quite Yet

Peter King lists Doug Marrone as a top 5 college candidate for an NFL job. I'm here to tell you Marrone holds all the potential to be an NFL coach, but it's not going to happen this year or in the upcoming years.

Catching Up With Cuse: Football Media Fun

So I've been lax on these lately and it's for a good reason: after Syracuse started running, Coach Marrone moved media opps from Wednesday to Tuesday (superstitious much?) and Tuesdays and Andy don't mix...EXCEPT FOR THIS WEEK.

Syracuse Defeats Louisville: WHAT THE HECK!?!?!

It's pretty crazy to see that Syracuse knocked off a top ten team for the first time since 2002. It's even crazier just how revved up the fans were for this one. It truly was a fantastic experience.

Jovan Miller's Stand Sheds Light on Racism

If you haven't heard, Jovan Miller is taking a stand against what he believes is a racially offensive marketing campaign. Regardless of your color, the situation brings to light once again the unsettling nature of racism in sports and our culture.

Beef O' Brady? Nah Man, We Can Do Better

I like where the Orange are going. They have momentum and face a great lineup of teams underachieving and not playing great football right now. This is why the Orange faithful should stop admitting to Beef and dream a little bigger.

A Crazy Thought From A Crazy Syracuse Fan

Syracuse just somehow managed to a win a game they tried so hard to lose for a half. Now, they're suddenly looking better than ever. It is crazy to think a comeback drive against USF just saved the Orange season?

Time to Cool Doug Marrone's Hot Seat

This season is nowhere near a success for the Syracuse Orange yet. However, with the most dominating win under his reign, Coach Doug Marrone should have saved his spot for the 2013 campaign...even if this season doesn't continue to pick up.

Syracuse Defense: We Can Go Undefeated From Here

Seriously. After catching up with Brandon Sharpe, Brandon Reddish and Siriki Diabate, we find that the Syracuse defense is finally hitting at all cylinders and is confident. So confident they think they can go undefeated from here on out.
