KWTX, Baylor announce "Baylor Game Day" pre-game show

Sounds pretty cool. Just another way for Baylor to reinforce its roots in Central Texas and continue trying to grow the brand, as Joos said in the piece.

NFL Draft 2014: CB Demetri Goodson to the Packers

That will be a great spot for him to learn and grow. Congrats, Meech!

BU Pro Prospects Holding Phones

I like Dixon's mindset going into things, though I think he's probably fibbing a bit about not caring where and when he goes.

Big 12 announces 2014 SEC/Big 12 Challenge schedule

Baylor vs. Vandy on a Thursday will surely have the scalpers abuzz! ranks Baylor #13 in their post-spring Top 25

Also, it's Disney-themed where every team is a villain. We are Chernabog from Fantasia, a lesser-known villain these days.

ESPN's Post-Spring Top 25 has Baylor at #9

Lot of talk about this going on in the twitterverse, and that talk should be happening here! BTW, not sure how Tech gets in here at #21, especially after the spring. After the bowls, maybe. But now that you know they have exactly 1 QB on the entire roster?

Brittney Griner says Baylor is "where [she] needed to be."

I get the question a lot: Do you wish you would've gone somewhere else? No, no I don't. . . . I love my school; that's always going to be my school. People who think, "Oh, she should've just gone somewhere else"; I'm like, "No, I was where I needed to be."

"Short Shorts Are Not for Everybody": An Interview With Brittney Griner Griner also mentioned that she had a "prior agreement with ESPN to come out with them," something I don't think should go unnoticed. I'm not going to defend Baylor's policy or how we, as a University, have treated homosexuals. I will say that I think Griner's story has been used and contorted to create an "us vs. them" mentality that, if you believe her statements, simply doesn't exist.

Briles loves the DL.

"I’ve been saying it for four months," Briles said, "I would put our D-line up against any D-line in the United States of America, when you’re looking at six- or seven-deep personnel and say, hey, let’s roll the ball out there and let’s play, let’s see who’s better.

I've been telling you guys...

OL Pat Colbert's family needs help

According to ESPN 1660's David Smoak on twitter, the family of one of Baylor's own lost everything to a fire that destroyed their home. Let's see what we can do.

Briles responds to Steve Edmond's comments in typical Brilesian fashion.

Mostly by denying that he had any knowledge of them to begin with and dismissing the comments as "like, his opinion, man."

Baylor TE Tre'Von Armstead = beasticon

Check out this series of tweets about Baylor's offense

I just posted one, but you should read the rest for a look at our offensive scheme.

Briles talks innovation, perfection for the Baylor offense

"Trying to be perfect? Trying to be innovative? We’re not trying," Briles said. "We’re being perfect, we’re being innovative, being fearless, not trying to open the book and play by what the book says. We’re willing to think outside the box. That, to me, is the biggest challenge we have. Because the bar is set so high that it’s really hard to maintain that level for an extended period of time."

Take your box and throw it out. Baylor won't play by your rules.

LED boards can go as many digits as we want, right?

Ohio State LB Mike Mitchell eyeing Baylor, A&M, Tech for transfer home

Mitchell set his timetable for a decision for this summer. Excuse the hilariously pro-Aggie writer.

Prevailing consensus appears to be Rice.

And so begins the next part of the recruiting season...

Just says after the final Spring Scrimmage, Spencer Drango tweeted the good news that he has been cleared to return next season. Baylor has its left tackle back.

JW Ketchum prank commits to Baylor for April Fool's

Ah, hilarious. Good one there, JW.

Baylor RB Anthony Webb tears ACL

Were I to guess, I'd say this at least slightly increases the chance that we might see true freshman Terence Williams in 2014.

CBSSports -- Baylor might be the most impressive team that we've seen in the 2014 NCAA Tournament.

And it may not be close. Scott Drew's squad beat Creighton on Sunday by 30 points and dominated Nebraska in the Round of 64 by 14. The Bears are overwhelming teams with their length defensively and are also getting terrific mileage out of Denver transfer Royce O'Neale. The 6-foot-6 O'Neale isn't the first player people think of when they're scouting Baylor, but the athletic wing is truly embracing his role as a utility guy. In two NCAA Tournament games, O'Neale is averaging 6.7 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 6 assists.

CBSSports shows Baylor, Royce O'Neale the love after week 1 of the Tournament.
