I'm as bummed out about everyone with the carolina game, but here is a little something to lighten the mood. (I admit i stole a lot of it from a steelers song of the same mold on the radio over here.)

On the 12th day of christmas the broncos gave to me...

12th man a-screaming

11 '08 rookies

10+ wins this season

9 straight oakland beatings

8 in the box defending

7 points for a touchdown

6 division titles

5 super bowl rings (statistical error +- 3)

4 receiver sets

3 tight ends

2 minute drills

and Jay Cutler as a franchise QB.

That's right, Silver just put the Denver Broncos as the number 6 team in his power rankings, AHEAD of San Diego!

It's finally good to see Denver is getting the RESPECT it deserves.

in other news, Tommy Kelly, the raider on the sinking ship, got arrested for DWI. Also, our pass protection was unbeatable and our offense unstoppable last game. D was great except for the frequent big play, and Shanahan has a pair of brass ones (i couldn't comment during the game, might as well say what i wanted to)

Ramadan

Quick question, I hope someone can find the answer. I've read that Ryan Harris and Hamza Abdullah are muslims. Being muslim myself, i wonder how they are dealing with Ramadan, the muslim month of fasting.

During Ramadan, one cannot eat or dring from sunrise to sunset, the purpose being to feel for those who are less fortunate. Harris and abdullah, however, are NFL players. I played HS football during Ramadan and it was extremely hard just to stay standing in practice. Harris is also a lineman, making it even tougher.

The raider game starts at 7:15 Mountain, right? that means these players, in accordance to religion, won't be able to hydrate or eat until around the second quarter (sundown here in Pittsburgh 7:40ish)

Can they play the whole game?

Watch our babies grow

We've all heard that Bmarsh is Baby TO. FlaBroncoFan brought up that eddie royal might be "baby Steve Smith." Deion Sanders called cutler "Baby Elway" (cutler would deny it, but the similarities our there, Jay!). that got me thinking.

Ryan torain can become baby TD, and with his freakish physical traits, josh barret has a chance to be Baby Ed Reed. M Thomas can be baby Sapp, and DOOM is already the baby Grim Reaper of QB's.

We are a very young team. Our proven veterans Champ, Stokes, Tom Tough as Nails, and Ekuban are the leaders now, but not our future. Our future veteran leaders will be the 06 draft (cutler, scheff, doom, and bmarsh.) and the core of that team will be this year's draft class. I have a feeling we'll be pretty dominant with a team like that.

Just let our babies grow...

MHR rules.

This is my first post, but i've followed this blog for about 10 months now. I'm excited over this season with the promise our new players have shown so far. I think that the 06 class with cutler, scheff, marsh, and doom will eventually be our veteran leaders in the seasons to come and our rookies now will eventually be the core of our team, we'll have a great season for sure, but even better ones in the future!

About me... I'm a high school senior living in pittsburgh, so i need to ask you guys a queason...

Like i said, i live in pittsburgh (actually a small town near pittsburgh) and i can't see any broncos games unless they are monday night or against pitt / dallas / green bay. it really sucks not being able to see my favorite team except for 2-3 times a year. NFL network isn't much help.

I recently got a 1500 SAT, so my parents say they will pay for a station on dish network if it gets broncos games!

Anyone able to help me out? any way to get denver local sports here? NFL sunday ticket is a bit unreasonable.

also, i have dial-up, so i can't stream anything unless i'm at work.
