Mike Neal has been suspended 4 games in 2012 for PEDs
Ugh, as if this guy needed any more downsides, apparently he's been popped for PEDs, will miss the first 4 games of 2012. Hopefully (as if there can be an upside here) he was using to recover from injury, as opposed to having used his whole career (and therefore his college performance would have been a Mandarich-esque fantasy). Wonder if Ted Thompson will keep him around at this point. It's such a shame.
Pro Bowl roster released, 7 Packers included
First, I dare the commenters on this fanpost not to say "Yeah but it doesn't matter because we won't be playing anyway we'll be in the Superbowl!" - Try to contain yourselves Obvious Ottos - we all want to play in the Superbowl this year.
Moving on, there were 7 players from the Packers who made the Pro Bowl squad:
Rodgers' first 8 games compared to other historic QB seasons
Ok, so let's take a look at Aaron Rodgers' first 8 games vs. other historic QB seasons through their first 8:
Rodgers (2011): 192 for 265, 72.5%, 2619 yards passing, 9.9 ypa, 24 TDs, 3 INTs, 37 carries 127 yards, 2 rushing TDs. 129.1 passer rating
Brees (2009): 181 for 265, 68.3%, 2336 yards passing, 8.8 ypa, 17 TDs, 7 INTs, 17 carries for 28 yards, 2 rushing TDs. 106.1 passer rating
Brady (2007): 198 for 267, 74.2%, 2431 yards passing, 9.1 ypa, 30 TDs, 2 INTs, 12 carries for 25 yards, 2 rushing TDs. 136.2 passer rating

Gerard Warren cut by Patriots - possible pickup?
The 33-year old DT/DE Gerard Warren was cut today by the Patriots, who had a lot of depth at his position. He's an experienced 3-4 lineman, and seems to be the perfect experienced backup the Packers could use with a lot of question marks on the line beyond B.J. Raji and Ryan Pickett. I feel this is our team's greatest weakness, and I think he could be a good stopgap until we feel confident that Neal will stay healthy for a season. If I found out we dropped a tight end in order to pick him up, I'd be pleased. Thoughts?
Greeeeeg Jenninnnnnngs responds to allegations that he put the team on his back doo
Pretty epic video where Greg Jennings responds to a fan question about this youtube video:

I love when he talks about the game vs. the Falcons, where he tells his opponent (who is constantly saying Greeeeeg Jennnnings) "We're beating you really bad, put the team on your back doo". Good stuff.

As Rodgers nears 1,500 attempts, how's the QB rating?
So, I was taking a look (as I usually do after every game) at Aaron Rodgers' QB rating. He came into this season on pace to be the highest rated QB of all time (ahead of Steve Young's 96.8) when he reached the 1,500 pass attempts necessary to qualify for the NFL record. However, things haven't quite gone according to plan, as Rodgers' QB rating for the season sits at 90.6, dragging his career rating down to 95.8, with a total of 1439 attempts.
So I crunched some numbers to see what it would take in his next 61 pass attempts (let's say the next two games - @MIN and @ATL) to eclipse Steve Young's record.
