Fake Teams Dynasty League Opening

Hey everyone,

I'm in a 16 team dynasty baseball league that is going into our 4th year in 2012, and we have had an owner who has left the league and need a replacement before we can head into our off season. The league is complex and requires a good bit of prospect knowledge as each team has a 50 man minor league roster, so we are looking for someone who would be able to run not just the major league side of the roster but the minor league side as well.

The available team has a young but talented base of players at the major league level that was a .500 team this past year. The minor league roster for this team is lacking of star potential, but there are plenty of good prospects that could be added to the roster to help bolster the team.

The league is free, hosted on Proboards (rosters/minors/transactions) and ESPN (actual scoring). If anyone is interested in the league and would want full details as far as our rules and information go, leave your email here and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Minor League Ball Spring Training Prospect News and Notes

I figured it would be good to have a place to discuss anything prospect related going on during Spring Training, be it performances, injuries, or anything else that doesn't warrant a fanpost of its own. Just rec it and we'll be able to use this thread for the rest of ST.

Fake Teams Fantasy Baseball League Opening

I know the season is winding down, but I'm the Co-LM of a deep dynasty league and we recently had an opening for one of our teams. We want someone who is knowledgeable about prospects as well as major leaguers. Let me know if you'd be interested in taking over the team and we'll get everything set up from there. I'm trying to find someone before Oct. 4th, which is when our offseason schedule begins.

Minor League Ball Houston Astros MOD

Thanks for checking out the Astros MOD. I'll be updating this at least every other day as more information comes in, as well as to answer any questions about the Astros draft strategy for this year's mock draft.

I am looking for an assistant, either someone with a little more familiarity with the Astros or just someone who wants to help out and will be able to keep my head from completely going to the fantasy side of thinking.

Minor League Ball Strasburg Dynasty League Trade

I've recently been offered a chance to receive Strasburg and Christian Guzman for Jair Jurrjens and Erick Aybar. I've got enough pitching to compete early without Jurrjens. Guzman would take over as my starting SS for Aybar and a couple elite level SS prospects, so should I do this trade. Contracts haven't been set yet so I could have control of Strasburg for essentially as long as I want. Do I do this trade. My league scoring is 6x6, normal H2H + HD and OPS.

My gut says accept, but I'm a huge Jurrjens fan.
