My name is Archie Donovan. I'm a free-lance professional sports journalist for over thirty years with a personal affection for the Toronto Blue Jays. Think of me as your view from the inside looking out. I am acquainted, though not necessarily friends, with every player that has ever worn the Blue Jays' uniform. I've infiltrated the blogs, forums, message boards and web sites of everyone who has ever referred to himself as a fan, true or otherwise.

Presently, I am in Dunedin, Florida, on my editor's dime observing Spring Training from every possible angle. When the Jays break camp, so will I.
