Wait, what? Are you serious? We have Helton for the same time period as we would have Gonzales. Why would we EVER consider this possibility? Hear me out fellow Purple Row readers. For I think I have a plan to make the Rockies even better than they are now.

We get to keep the Toddfather around for a couple more years. I for one welcome the thought that we won't have to watch Hawpe struggle at first in 2012.
Rockies 15th in Bleacher Report's preseason power rankings
Behind such powerhouses as the Giants, Mariners, White Sox, Cubs, and Mets. Bonus, no explanation why the Rockies are 15th, but I suspect that the clue is in the fact that the Mets even without a pitching staff according to Bleacher Report are 5th.
