My name is...not important. I love sports, especially the Twins, Hurricanes, Panthers, Tar Heels, Bobcats, DC United and Finland. I realise there are many teams that go under those names but I don't care. You can figure it out for yourself but you probably don't care either.

Steve Smith on his way out?
This kind of freaks me out. Yes he's older but he's also a leader and a great mentor for the younger receivers and players in general. Losing him would hurt.
It only takes one game.
When I woke up this morning, I felt a little better from last night when I tried to...well let's just say another Twins loss to the Yankees, an ugly calculus test the next morning, and a liberal amount of rum don't mix well. This morning, however, I felt better. Slightly hungover yes and an evil calculus test looming in 30 minutes but still for some reason I was feeling good. This whole week I had been dreading the test because during this whole week of preparation, I hadn't been doing so well. I was only getting the questions right about half the time, and that was usually with a fair amount of the computer's help. The impending failure had started to get into my head. I seriously reconsidered switching my physics major, a major I've been dreaming to get into for years. However, when I put on my Twins cap and walked out the door, I felt weirdly buoyant. I got to the classroom and instead of sitting with my head in my hands feeling sorry for myself, I joked around with the people around me, playfully hummed the Imperial March, and discussed last night's episode of Big Bang Theory that I didn't see with the professor. When the test was passed out, I put my name on it and the smiley face (our professor gives us an extra point on our test if we draw a smiley face at the beginning of the test) and turned the page to the first problem.
DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart should stick around for awhile
We Panther fans obviously want to see Double Trouble tearing up the NFL for the next 50 years. However, it's generally accepted among us that eventually they'll have to cut one loose because they will want to be featured backs and we simply cannot pay them the money for that and for a while I agreed with the idea. However, after reading the football outsiders article that bmoyer put up, I started thinking that it would behoove DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart to continue sharing the Panthers backfield from both a career-extending and financial standpoint.
