Just looking at the results compared to what we know about FSU's excellent national TV ratings I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this guys methodolgy is a bit flawed. BC and UVA football have more fans than FSU? I highly doubt that, although I haven't crunched the numbers personally.

Glazer's taking his soccer team public. Maybe the money he gains from this will help him be able to spend some cash on the Bucs.

Blogs With Balls - which is, for those who don't know, "the leading sports new media event series in the country," - is planning a "Untitled Sports Media Awards Project" in the run up to its annual conference scheduled for some time this fall.

As the BWB website explains, this project is, in part, an effort to recognize the best bloggers out there:

"There are literally hundreds of different awards shows in entertainment, media and sports, but none of them have acknowledged a growing list of great internet sports writers who certainly deserve the recognition.

So we thought we’d create one."

Since we all know that TN is the best blog on the net, I thought we all should help the hard working staff get some well-deserved recognition.

BWB is accepting nominations for multiple categories that TN qualifies for, including: Best Sports Site - Writing Quality, Best Team-Specific Site, Best Sportswriter, Best Audio/Video/Radio Podcast, etc.

So lets get out the vote Noles!

I'm sure most of you are familiar with the annual Name of the Year competition featured here: http://nameoftheyear.blogspot.com/

They haven't released the ballots for this spring's iteration yet and are still accepting nominations. I decided to submit FSU's own Sterling Lovelady for consideration and encourage everyone here to do the same.

Hopefully, with our help, Sterling can join the ranks of awesomely-monikered past winners such as Barkevious Mingo, Nohjay Nimpson and Assumption Bulltron.

Nominations can be sent to: nameoftheyear@gmail.com

Let's get Sterling Lovelady the recognition he deserves!

Just saw this pop up and I wanted to see if anyone could provide any insight. All the talk i've heard about Tangradi was that he was set to be a top 6 guy this year, and now he's been sent to the ECHL. What happened?

Some little prick decided to be a comedian and put asterisks on all the markers in the sod cemetery of games that were rescinded in the cheating scandal. Granted if the situation was reversed and a Nole fan vandalized the Tebow speech (b*tchfit) plaque or something I'd find it hilarious. But if for some reason anyone here didn't already hate Gator fans enough to begin with here's one more reason to want to crush them, see them driven before us, and hear the lamentations of their women.

We should get T-Pain to make one of these for CP7. Maybe that would help him get the national attention he deserves!
