It's all down hill from here on...
Oh-no! We lost a game. The Bears embarrassed us. They run over us, under us and our defense let them march down the field and score at will. We can’t win, we will never win. DeSean Jackson needs to be traded because he finally had a bad game and Coach Reid got upset.
Shut-up!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was one game and we still have the rest of the season to make it up. Our schedule is set up to take control of the NFC East and it was evident we miss Asante. The Bears just had a great game plan and got the best of the Birds. Reid getting on Jackson means nothing. Two grown men getting things straight so we don't have that kind of disappointment in any other game. That's what your head coach is supposed to do.
What a better time to redeem yourself as a team then to go up against the 32nd ranked defense. Two of the hottest receivers in the game should have a great night. I mean if they can protect Michael Vick for more than 1 quarter? Everybody is worried about Andre Johnson, but if the quarter back is on his back or rushed to make inaccurate throws he won’t be a factor. This D-line is going to get pressure because they are that good compared to the Texans O-line. Here's a serious question though. Is DeSean Jackson that much of a problem to where some fans wants to get rid of him? Is he that much of a diva? I really hope he does get a new contract. Which he will get a new contract before the post season. I mean who else is out there that we could really get that is that explosive?
Prediction: Eagles-38
Texans-9

Knock the Wind out of the Windy City!
Lets all be real. The Bears are a good team (defensively-anyway) this season. They are going to be another great test for this Eagles team in all three phases. Chicago's defense is holding up and shutting receivers, running backs, and quarterbacks down.
But this is the year of the super-stars in my eyes. DeSean Jackson will get over 100 yards receiving, because Chris Harris or Charles Tillman will not be able to contain him for long and speed wise is a joke to think of. Jeremy Maclin will most likely have 80 yards with 2 touchdowns if he is very physical with Tim Jennings. I really hope Brent Celek is involved more with the passing game on Sunday? I think he can have a big day against Brian Urlacher. Urlacher is still good on the run, but his pass defense is diminishing. LeSean McCoy is quietly running to a 1000 yards. Well to other people outside of Philly he might be quite. But Shady has 146 carries, for 726 yards, 5.0 average running and 6 touchdowns for the season so far. It should be a no brainier to get him those extra 274 yards. And how could I not mention the big super star quarterback: Michael Vick! If this line can protect long enough, and frustrate one-Julius Peppers, the Eagles could have a great offensive game.
Realistically this will be a Defensive game. Our defense will determine once again how this game will turn out. Our line has to get pressure on Jay Cutler, as well as our linebackers. Cutler does not play well pressured and the Bears O-line is very suspect. Nate Allen, Asante Samuel, and Dimitri Patterson should make it a goal to have a huge game!
My prediction is Eagles-24
Chicago-17

Thank you to the Manning brothers....
It feels lovely to be 7-3 and owning the NFC East. This game was more satisfying than last Monday night. The Giants were a tougher team, and on some stupid mistakes some people would have thought, "Here we go again".... But they hung in and got the job done. Shady had another 100 yard game and our defense were ever where. They once again took care of another Manning. Eli Manning may be having a nice year at his position, but Michael Vick has not thrown an interception and still is undefeated as a starter. We really must thank Eli and Peyton for gift wrapping our wins against their so called, "great teams"!!!!
Isn't Asante Samuel just a blessing to have in our secondary? And our defense is playing non-stop great football even when their star players make mistakes. When Samuel fumbled they could've just gave up. But once again they are finally playing as one whole team, so the next man has to do their job to get to their goals. The drop balls were annoying but the important thing is the victory.
Lastly, everyone stop talking about playoffs and Super Bowl. We can't control or predict the future. We should enjoy the moment and take it, game by game...
7-3, whopeeeee!!!!!! lets go Vick! Forgiveness is a blessing!

How good are the Giants, Really?
Lets all be real, this defense is good, but suspect in the secondary. Their linebackers and D-line is something to game plan for with intense concentration. Eli Manning is not having a great time throwing the ball, especially with that laughable game Sunday evening. There best offensive player for right now is (RB) Ahmad Bradshaw. He has 838 yards for this season, and that is nothing to look over.
But more important then that is this Eagles run defense has step-up in a huge way, D-line and linebackers all the way. I'm so giddy over these defensive backs making great plays over some great and good receivers. Reggie Wayne to Santana Moss, They are stepping up to stop their game...
Forget what everyone was saying during the off season and pre-season. Looking at Michael Vick is like looking at a Madden video game on PS3. LeSean McCoy and Jerome Harrison will be a great compliment to each other. I hope Jeremy Maclin and DeSean Jackson make the probowl and more importantly get a Super Bowl victory coming this season. I wonder when Nate Allen comes back; he's a gifted ball hawk this early in his career. My prediction is two scenarios: Eagles win: 31-20
If the Giants pull off an upset, then Giants 21-17, it's going to be close no matter what and it's always physical with this team... Go Birds!!!!!!!!!!

59 points? Donovan who????
Wow!!! I really wasn't expecting that, but I knew they were going to win. I wonder if Michael Vick can pull off another performance like that on Sunday night? DeSean Jackson, looks like a mini T.O. except faster. I'm really impressed that Jeremy Maclin is having a fabulous season. He stepped his game and manhood up in a big way buy making those wonderful end zone catches that should send him to the pro-bowl with Jackson. And the O-line looks like they are actually good. Even the running game is holding up, Jerome Harrison is continuing what he did with the Browns.
Now, I was hoping this defense would stay consistent and make plays when they had to, but who knew they would be that relentless on embarrassing Donovan McNabb. I guess they really had revenge on their mind... And what was it that the defense had??? Um, 2 sacks, 3 interceptions... I told my friends to listen. They said, "they are the Eagles, they'll find a way to mess this up.” Dimitri Patterson once again impresses me and now we have a physical rookie Safety in Kurt Coleman that had his first interception last night.
The number one question majority of fans are asking is when are the Eagles going to offer Michael Vick a long term contract? I hope they sign him for 5 or 6 more years and at least $56 million. But realistically, we are talking about a Philadelphia front office that has always hesitated on give big money until the last minute. Can they surprise us all and lock this guy in?

The attack on Washington.... Revenge
Is Donovan really going to beat us twice? Are the Eagles going to be humiliated again against the Deadskins? I don't think so! Vick is back healthy and looking like a player willing to do any and everything to win a championship with this team. I know I'm pushing it by saying a championship, but isn't that what every Eagles fan is hoping for with this team?
I know Vick can rack up at least 250 in the air and at the very least 50 yards rushing, with 3 passing touchdowns and 1 rushing touchdown. Why will Michael Vick have such a god game? He is in a zone and for this season he is studying defenses better then any time in his career. Sure he needs to slide when he runs out of the pocket. But he gets things done for the most part. When Vick is in the lineup, everyone on that offense seems to step up their game a notch to get these wins. Especially the coaches play calling. I'm so very happy that we have a running game that most opponents are not looking for. Jeremy Maclin and DeSean Jackson have to be in the Pro-Bowl this year.
Our defense should hold up this time on the ground and air. We've gotten better since week 4, plus the Redskins are a hot mess. Revenge should be the motivation, along with being 0-1 in the division. We are more talented then Washington in all phases. Monday night will really be our push for the playoffs.
The Great Peyton Manning!
I just want to say I told people this team was and could beat the Colts. Majority of people, (that were so called, "Eagles fans"), told me: "They are not beating Peyton; he will eat the blitz up no matter who he has as receivers." He is a man that plays the quarter back position. He has been beaten, and can be beaten. I didn't explain why or how the Eagles could beat the Colts, but it was evident on what I was telling friends and so called fans. If any team game plans each quarter to be different, and can actually get pressure with or without a sack on Manning it confuses and frustrates him. If you do it enough it can knock him off his entire game. We can keep in mind; most of the Colts star players are injured. But they had 18. More than one commentator and analyst said the Eagles have no chance and Peyton is too great and no matter who he has catching the ball they will win. Jokes on them....
Sean McDerrmott stepped up his play calling, because the sack by Ernie Sims was huge. And the officials are idiots, I don't care what they say, Trent Cole should have had that sack. Asante will be a huge factor getting that wild-card spot to get into the playoffs. That line finally showed itself to get Peyton pressured. Nate Allen had to get hurt but he'll be back next Monday and Kurt Coleman stepped up real well. I don't care what Ellis Hobbs says about he was playing with a hip flexor. Nonsense! Dimitri Patterson played real well and stayed on Reggie Wayne like white on rice. He should fight and find a way to get that starting job. I also like the way Juqua Parker has stepped up the first half of the season. Hope he makes it to the pro-bowl, along with Nate Allen....
That was the worse officiating I have seen in years. I prayed that Collie was ok, and thank GOD he is doing well, despite the concussion. But nobody can tell me that wasn't a fumble and a legal hit. I know the helmet to helmet from Coleman was considered a penalty, but the NFL is ridiculous and it's annoying what these officials are doing. And if we thought that was something to scream about, Trent Cole was robbed a sack... Who feels like body slamming that ref when Cole clearly wasn't going for Manning's head?
Now for all the good in winning, I must go for the bad. We can not keep relying on field goals when we are in the red zone. This line is still an issue, and Jerome Harrison should be a major consideration when at the 1 or 2 yard line. The family and I were screaming and jumping when Reid called that time out. It always starts a waterfall of problems. After that was the false start, and then giving Peyton another chance to drive down the field. But Asante saves the game and we are 5-3.
Monday is the revenge game. Who thinks Donovan has a chance to win this second time?

Well needed rest...
Thank GOD for the bye-week. This team needs the rest and have to regroup on the coaches’ side to come up with some great schemes to trash the Colts. I'm glad Kevin Kolb played and tried his best to get a win. Now Vick has another week to rest, heal, and regroup his game plans. DeSean will have a great game back against this Colts defense. Especially if our run offense is great that day.The Colts are worse than us trying to stop the run. We have gotten better, but still need to crush other teams running backs. Hopefully LeSean (Shady) McCoy will have a 100 yard game against the Colts defense, and maybe that will cause our receivers too have a huge day in numbers.
Am I the only one, or do people want to see Payton Manning on his back with our defense having somewhere between 3-6 sacks and 2-5 interceptions? I know I'm asking for a lot, but if we want to prove we are a good team we have to beat a great team...

So we took a lost....
It's a part of the Philadelphia sports life when one weekend your teams are on cloud 9 and then the next weekend you are brought down to sports reality. Let’s be honest here, the birds could of won that game yesterday afternoon. Yes Kevin Kolb was inconsistent for most of the game but made enough good plays to help win. I think when the defense just gave up it deflated the offense. Everyone would have thought that after the second time Kenny Britt scored, McDermott would try a different scheme or coverage. Despite what the other teams do we have to find a way to knock teams on their butts and keep them there until the clock reaches 0:00. Since the Lions game in week 2, the Eagles have given other teams the opportunity to get a win. This week it came back to haunt them with a tough Titans team. The defense especially has to find a way to shut these teams down aggressively in the fourth quarter instead of just relaxing and relying on their offense. The fumble by McCoy was a clear sign that this team cannot find a way to except a mistake and learn how to fight for a win to the end of each game. Whether coaches must repeat this every week, or bench players for silly undisciplined penalties, they cannot beat themselves. This bye-week should be focused on fundamentals and handling the unexpected. Hopefully after this bye-week, Michael Vick can spark another fire under everyone belly. Including our coaches play calling. We are 4-3, but with a weak Conference we have a big shot to dominate everyone after the bye-week. And I really want to know what do fans think of Ellis Hobbs? I think his play is not all that great to be a #2 corner. I want to see either rookie corners step up and fight for that position. I mean Hobbs is ok; he is a professional in the NFL. But this secondary is so suspect, and Hobbs is not an asset right now.
The NFL or NFFL?
It seems that fans and players are upset, pissed-off, angry at the league officials for this week fines for so- called illegal hits. What do you all think? Are the people in high power positions being unfair and tampering with the excitment that we love with football? Are they being hypocrites in saying these hits are not acceptable, but try to make money off of pictures and non-stop video play? Was Daunte's hit on DeSean Sunday legal and a clean hit or is there a reason to be mad? I think and know it was a clean hit. He did his job, to bad it was against our team. James Harrison's hit was better, but that's what he does. Stop making this game turn soft. It is vilant and dangerous, IT'S FOOTBALL PEOPLE!
Clash of the Titans....
Here's a question. what quarter back should start Sunday? I know Kevin Kolb is practicing with the first team, but Michael Vick says he wants to play now, he's ready. Coack Reids best bet, is to sit Vick again against Tennessee and we will have the by-week for more healing and prepare well for the Colts. The Titans lead the league in sacks and are overly aggressive on getting to the quarterback. I truely believe Kevin Kolb can get a good air attack on the Titans secondary, but only if this O-line can do another great job protecting. The defense has to bottle up Chris Johnson and can not let him get no more than 50 yards. Make Vince Young scared and Kerry Collins confused. Jasin Babin could get a sack or 2, but who is to say he will be a factor???? Stewart Bradley, and Nate Allen has to have a very good game to stop Tennessee's offense. My prediction will be Eagles-20/Titans-17.
Great day, despite....
So we win again, impressively! Jeremy Maclin had 6 receptions for 152 yards and 2 touchdowns. Kevin Kolb looked like he could play for years to come in the past two weeks. I was hoping McCoy would have some more rushing yards, but can't complain for all the offense did. And the defense held their ground the entire game, especially on Tony Gonzalez. Stewart Bradley stepped up like I said he would, and Assante Samuel got his point accross with a interception and a few tackles. Now, DeSean Jackson took the breath out of everyone, including the Falcons when he took that hit. You didn't want to see that happen and not with him, our biggest play-maker. But this is the NFL, and we known for years that this happens once in a while. Thank GOD it wasn't intentional, or it would have been a problem...... deSean is a tough kid and Coach Reid should just sit him until the colts to make sure he is refreshed and ready to go and do his thing.
How impressive was King Dunlap man handling Johnathan Abraham? That's the main reason why Kolb had the few extra seconds to get the ball down the field and hit his check-downs. Now hopefully this O-line can do another great job down Tennesse? Which by the way, right now they lead the NFL in sacks.

Hot-Lanta!!!!
Vick comes back to the starting quarterback position and what a time to do so. The Falcons are 4-1 and Vick enjoys playing against his old team. This will be another good test/game for the birds against a very good team. More importantly, the defense will have to step-up. Steward Bradley has been quiet since the concussion from the Green Bay game but I truly think he will have a big game on Sunday. I'm expecting B. Graham to have tons of pressure in Matt Ryans face and two sacks. Trent Cole with a sack and like 4 tackles. I'm not really concerned about Atlanta's defense except for the D-line. But their corners and safeties, I think Jeremy Maclin and DeSean Jackson can sneak a lot of yards on them. The special Teams is heart-breaking to watch and they have to get it together before it gets worse. Nate Allen should have 2 interceptions before the 4th quarter. Shady should be the x-factor with his rushing, (broken rib and all), doesn't matter. The Eagles will win this game: Eagles-27, Falcons-21. And they do need a victory at home for the first time in the season.

What a night to win!!!!
Was anybody really concerned about Kevin Kolb starting? He did what a back-up was suppose to do, which was to be productive enough to help his team win. Unfortunately for the defense in the first quarter they did give up a bunch of yards and a touchdown. Thanks to Kevin Kolb and an O-line that held up for the most part, the Eagles offense came right back with a 75 yard drive touchdown pass from Kolb to Brent Celek to tie in the first quarter. Late in the first quarter, Moise Fokou forced Frank gore to fumble with a major hit. The 49ers quarterback Alex Smith still was able to expose this defense for 309 yards and 3touchdowns, but the difference between Smith and Kolb, Kevin Kolb had no interceptions. Kevin Kolb threw for 253 yards and a toucdown, and rushed 3 times for 17 yards. Kolb did have a fumble, but wasn't entirely his fault as tackle King Dunlap got beat on a rush to cause the fumble. And Shady McCoy is a beast for his second year, broken rib and all. McCoy had 18 carries for 92 yards and a touchdown. The rookies on defense were impressive as well. Mike Patterson had an interception over Ted Ginn Jr. at the 3 yard line right before the 1st half. Bradon Graham cause Alex Smith to fumble and Quinton Mikel scoop it up to run back for a touchdown. And rookie corner Trevard Lindley sealed the game with an interception in the last few minutes of the fourth quarter. For all the great that happened, the special Teams was not very good. The run back by Ted ginn, Jr. was deflatting and gave insight to when we play the Bears and Devin Hester. But a win is a win. Oh, Jeremy Maclin had 6catches for 95 yards and Brent Celek, 3 catches for 47 yards and a touchdown. I know this is not football, but how bout the Phillies back in the NLDS.... Whooaaa!!!!!! Good sports weekend, all is good in the land for now....

I goof!!!!! That's my mistake, it won't happen next time.
I'm speechless! There's no point in writing anything..... Vick gets hurt, Reid still can't get plays in. How about another 12 years???? Oh, Nate Allen had another interception. Ya, rookie! Jason Peters has 14 penalties this season. Kevin Kolb will keep making scared passes with this O-line. It is sad Maclin and Jackson have 9 passes put together the entire game. McCoy did all he can do to try and win the game for the team. How much longer are fans suppose to hear, "That was my fault, I will have them better prepared next time..."? Jason Avant has the best hands on the team and he drops the game winning touchdown to a horrible secondary. But this whole mess, falls on the head coach. Who really cares where the ball is spotted when you desperate for a touchdown before the half. And the troubles trickled down to the defense. We had no run defense at all and the secondary got their butts handed on a platter. Now we are 0-1 in the division, 2-2 for the season, and we go to San Fran, which is a worry, because the Eagles do not do well on the West Coast. We need a prayer and a quarter-back.

Guess who's Back?
McNabb is back and everyone is talking. Will he catch the boo-birds or be cheered like Dawkins? I hope he is cheered and it stop's this talk of Philly being class-less, evil, and GOD knows what ever else. I think this is going to be one of, if not the best game of the regular season. Everyone has been waiting since Easter for this match-up. Michael Vick has to play another perfect game and take apart this defense. They are the 31th rank secondary in the league. And I really believe we can get a few rushing yards on them as well. Brent Celek will have to be the secret weapon in this game because of their blitzing linebackers like Orakpo. My main question would be are people going to boo, if Donovan has that big smile on his face after a big play or a win????
It's good to be 2-1.....
Ok, I don't even have to talk about the fourth Quarter in this one. What Quarterback controversy? All this week, different people kept saying, "Kolb wants to be traded." "Vick is not a pocket Quarterback, and he will eventually get injured before the end of the season." Now back to today, Micheal Vick starts the day with a 61 yard touchdown pass to DeSean Jackson on a 3rd & 15 in the first quarter. The Jaguars Maurice Jones-Drew was rushing, but backwards. The Eagles D-line held up and stop Drew from getting to a 100 yard game. During the second quarter the Eagles offense slowed down and had a tough time running with the ball and passing down the field. M. Vick needs to learn how to slide when he is in the open field trying to make a first down. The bad luck still haunt coach Reid on 4th & 1. The swing pass to Mike Bell came up a inch short. Not to worry though, because with 7 seconds left in the 2 minutes of the first half Vick finds Maclin for a 17 yard touchdown pass.
In the 3rd quarter the Eagles defense did not let up on Jacksonville. The pressure from the D-line finally produced some sacks from Jaqua Parker, (who also has 4 sacks so far), Darryl Tapp had his first, Ernie Sims and Trent Cole got into the sack machine as well. And we finally start the Asante Samuel interception bus with one so far. Jeremy Maclin is also finding his way in the endzone a lot. He scored a 45 yard touchdown pass in the third quarter to destroy any chance of the Jag's coming back for a late victory. The 4th quarter was not even a mention, so we just ran the ball to kill the clock. Next stop-home!!!
And Vick starts!!!!!
Can you believe it? Vick starts and it could be for the rest of the season? You fans got what you wanted and take the good and bad. Jacksonville is next so lets also see if the defense wont blow a lead? There have to stop the running game, because Maurice Jones-Drew will be running. Lets run down there throat. I'm excited they're starting Vick. We need a consist flow going because McNabb is right after the Jaguars. The question is, "Is Vick going to be better then Kolb?"
Can you believe it!?! We have a affective running Game!
Lesean McCoy had 16 carries and 120 yards rushing with 3 touchdowns to match Sunday against the Lions. Say what you want about it just being the Lions, but that game was good to watch until the end. Ok, the defense did let the Lions offense comback in the second half. But they still lost. Micheal Vick shut a whole lot of doubters up when he played like a traditional quarter-back. And threw no interceptions, plus he was 21-34 passing with 284 yards and 2 touch downs in the air. The spark plug (as I call him), DeSean Jackson had 8 receptions for 165 yards and a touchdown. Oh, Maclin did find himself in the endzone for a touchdown as well before the first half ended. It didn't even matter that he only had 3 receptions for 26 yards and got away with Offensive pass interference. Even though this defense is fairly young and still jelling, we need to be more consistent. The front line did get pressure and Brandon Graham had his first sack of the season. Graham's bullrush ability is impressive and we all hope it gets better over the next few years. Nate Allen has an interception in both games and 9 tackles, could he become the next ball-hawk Safety??? The defense should practice this week on their run defense, because Jahvid Best gashed them for a good amount of the game. Next week is a good test, because Jacksonville will run the ball and use it to their advantage. But it was a good game and a win.

What to look forward too....
With week one in the books, it's good to know that this team isn't the only team to be going through the injury bug. But wow, what a setback. Our Starting Center is out for the season. Our Middle Linebacker and starting Quaterback have to sit out with their concussions until week 3. And another one of our best offensive weapons, Fullback-Leonard Weaver torn his ACL. So what is the bright side to all this? Micheal Vick was on the way to winning that first game and with Sunday's trip to Detriot it could set us at 1-1. Vick looks like the Vick from old, at least with the speed and arm strength. It doesn't matter to Eagle's fans that he is not a true West Coast quarter back. We just want the best chance to win. Our defense should do their job well with the Lions. We should do really well since Matthew Stafford is down with his shoulder injury. Can't wait to see what happens Sunday at 1pm....
First Game: v.s. Packers! Singnature Andy!
From the start of the game Kevin Kolb look uneasy like he knew this would be a long day. Kevin Kolb was 10 for 5 and 24 yards. Majority of the time he was out there the line could not pass protect to save their own lives let alone Kolb's. But Kolb did not make things better by trying to make real thin throws to players that were double covered. Kolb would of had two, but Charles WooDson could not keep full control to the ground and the other potential was called back because of a penalty.Unfortunatly for Kolb, he left the game with a concussion. Too make matters worse Leonard Weaver torn his ACL and will be out for the season. The bright spot, if any to all their offensive woes is LeSean McCoy had 7 carries for 35 yards and a touchdown. in the first quarter. And the bright spot to the O-Line is they did open running lanes to have affective running threw most of the game. After Kolb went down, Micheal Vick came in and tried his best to tie and save this game. Vick threw for 175 yards and rushed for 103 yards. He also threw a touchdown pass to J. Maclin who had 4 receptions for 39 yards. Their biggest play maker DeSean Jackson, only had 4 receptions for 30 yards and no touchdowns. The offensive problems must of trickled down to the special teams coverage because it seemed that Green Bay got to or was almost near the 40 yard line after every kick off. Not good at all if your trying to make a team work for yards and points. Now the bright spot to this whole game was this young, fast, and opportunistic DEFENSE. The defensive line looked great in getting pressure on Aaron Rodgers. Juqua Parker had 2 sacks and Trent Cole had 1 sack. To ad on to the sacks, the pressure caused the Packers quarter back to throw 2 interceptions. One to corner back Joselio Hanson, and a floater to rookie Safety Nate Allen. By the way, the coaching and medical staff may have cost us our Middle Linebacker Steward Bradley by bringing him back for a series when it was clear he had a concussion and should sit out. To end on a bad not why would a 11 year head coach call for a quarter back run in the shotgun on 4th & 1 with the game on the line to be tied? These are the things that gets Eagles fans hostile because we even know better. We are off to Detriot next week and the only good thing to look at is their 0-1 like us. Whoppeee! See you next week.
Too late to go back....
Finally September 12th is right around the corner and we all get to find out if this Kolb era gets it going for a championship(s) run in my lovely city. Will the complaints of many people saying to get rid of that other guy, finally bring us a Super Bowl? I know the team is young. Most of the players are barely in their late twenties and some haven't been around each for very long, but who knows; This could finally be something. Just call me Mr. Optimistic... The team has finally gotten their 53 man roster together and made some interesting trades and needed cuts. Stacey Andrews, thank GOD we didn't fly into the season with a Guard that was either delusional or was just trying to see his brother for 2games out of this long season.!! And we traded for a very good Guard with Arizona, (Reggie Wells). Quintin Demps, I like him on special teams, especially for kick returns. But Macho Harris, I saw that was coming since last season with both Dallas losses. He needs time to get better, and we all know as Philadelphian's: "We don't have it!!!!" we finally get into a season with no concerns about depth with Wide Receivers. But I want to see if Jeremy Maclin will and can be that physical wide out??? Riley Cooper can possible be a serious threat in the red zone. Time will have to tell that because everyone sees the talent and potential. Clay Harbor better keep whatever it is he has going all season with Brent Celek. Now my favorite side of the squad, Eagles DEFENSE!, could come up and upper cut other team's offense's in the mouth if they can be consistent. Brandon Graham may look like a small Defensive End, but who cares because his talent and potential should make him great with Trent. Stewart Bradley is back! Don't get me wrong, I don't think he is Trotter status yet, (when Trot had that speed in his younger days), but he is all over the field and looking good off of just a year from a serious injury. And I hope Dimitri Patterson can work in this system. Trevard Lindley looks promising and hope he gets at least a opportunity to make big plays. Somebody tell Ernie Sims to pop Tony Romo at least once so I can laugh? It is also genius that they picked Antwan Barnes from the Ravens. Even the Special Teams look promising. Hank has gotten another chance to continue with his career without appearing on his wife show. I had to take that stab. I will be writing at least one of these every week, and even the by-week, for the season. Bring on the Packers and see what happens. Aaron Rodgers, So!!!!!
One more meaning less game...
So what, they haven't scored but two touchdowns in the redzone! One by the first team offense and the other by the third team offense. So what,John Clayton ranked Kolb, 24th, among Quaterbacks. So what it looks like for now Stacey can't block a nine year old. So what, it looks like the defense can't stop any run. It's pre-season! We haven't even got threw the first regular season game. Don't get to happy or sad... Take a deep breath and set your expectations LOW!!!! Funny, huh? I just want to see Hank get back on the squad. Sorry, just think if he steps his game up to another level, he could be great. The O-line will get it together for the sake of them getting run out of the city. We have Vick and a rookie. What else do you all want.... Asante' is finally hitting and tackling. Sit down, keep quite and watch!

Not to worry, huh?
Stacey Andrews said not to worry. Is it me or do players after a while start to sound like the coach? That game Friday from the line is horrible. At least the defense gave us something to watch for a half. How can we get a running game if the o-line doesn't get a hole to do so? I'm scared for Kolb and the receivers because if we don't have time to throw or catch, what's the point of them being out there? I don't care about the dress rehearsal for the Chiefs, "IT'S THE CHIEFS"!!!! THE ONLY GOOD NEWS IS J. jACKSON looks like he will be ready for the first season game. Cause Green Bay might embarrass us? Big-Ups! to Patterson the CB. And did you see Chad get stars in his eyes by Patterson and Bradley. Lets hit like that all season... I know everyone will say they will have things straighten out before the 12th, but Big Red has done this before. Where he didn't prepare before the first game. It's going to be a long season. I stay think we will make the playoffs by a miracle from GOD!!!
Everybody calm down!
The first pre-season game, so lovely to see football live again. Ready and anticipating another season. The offense looks exciting and the defense no matter how young, they look so interesting. Vick looks like the Vick from ATL, but with some actually Quater back skills. The O-line still has sometime to get that timing but the rookie LT, (Howard) looks promising to be one of those bookend, mean, physical tackles once he gets a few seasons under him. All the RB's looks promising depending on how the Coaches choose to use the running game. If any Running game??? The first team defense looks very fast and promising. I'm glad Bradley is back and Simms looks like a monster and ready to hurt people. Grahmn looks like a wild bull trying to give the QB second thoughts. Lets see what happens when we get to the second game so we have a better look....

Friday, we get to hit somebody else...
Can't believe the first preseason is almost here. Let's see if Allen is as good as we see or say he is? I want to see who can hit? Asante' looks like he has gotton better with it and is this offense in any rythmn? I hope Hank doesn't get cut again... My eyes will be watching Stew Bradley ande see if he can get these defensive players playing and hitting like they're professionals and crazy dogs.?
A week in, so how do you like?
It's been close to a week and a few players have muscle issues. Not to get all worried, they're just a few hamstring problems, muscle spasims and hard hitting. Everyone is so worried about DeSean's back, he'll be alright. The kid is tough, he will be ready. The defense is looking better for being so young. And we are getting back to hitting and sound tackling. This was a major problem last season, and hopefully it won't be that way this season. I can't believe how LeSean (Shady)McCoy, has grown and actually pounding the rock. He's beefed up and running more north and south then trying to cut most of the time. And the battle for recievers is now and during the pre-season going to be very, very interesting. Riley Cooper has wowed preety much everyone. So who is he going to beat out? Or will he just get cut in the final week of pre-season? I'm looking forward to Brent Celek and Jeremy Maclin to have an even bigger year then past. I can't believe we all are actually talking about a recieving core that is actually interesting and can do some things to oppossing defenses. I'm actually ready to see these pre-season games so I can really see some action.
Who's ready for CAMP?!!!!!!!!!
A week away. Lets see if Lesean will have run game and a O-Line that will get him at least a thousand yards? Will D.J. get even faster and be that top ten vertical threat in the entire league? And young stud Macklin? Will he be another threat across the middle and physical like say: "T.O.", his second season? Avant is a sleeper that is just fine with me, because I want to be a shock to other teams. Especially in this division. Brent Celek could be a even better Tight End then lets say, over rated Jason Witten? Ya, I said, "over rated!"Them Cowboys still get no love here. I'm really, really, really intrigued about this Defense. I want to see this D-Line, especially Trent Cole, and the rookie take over and wreck havoc. And I don't care what Safety does it, but for the Love of GOD! Hit so hard, that sound is afraid to come out. Oh! A few 10 or 12 interceptions would be nice!!!!! A week to go, lets get this going right?? I need a Superbowl in Dallas. The possibilities.
Mis-Understood..... Vick circumstances!
It seems that my comments or views on this over blown story from the ridiculous media was taken as an attack on Vick? Yes he can celebrate his birthday with his friends and family. It seems he did nothing wrong. People are blowing this thing out of proportion, and finding any and everything to hate this man. My opinion is still stay home, go to work and keep idiots that do nothing but have a street mentally to every part of their lives at a distance. It might be racial thoughts and little hatred. I'm not touching that until something is said from an ignorant fool.
It seems his brother Marrrrr-kus is still a little kid? Whatever the case, this team can always stay relevant in the lime-light. I wish it would result in the form of a Super Bowl Championship.... And the fools that keep saying they should and look to trade him, for what? It wouldn't be shocking if they did, cause let's face it: It's the E-a-g-l-e-s! But no lets see some more how further this will take us? Doesn't hurt the offense at all... Vick, I am pulling for you, but still keep in mind you can not let people have the clearance to pull you down further into going no-where or neutral. And family will do this harder and faster then enemies or good friends. Once again, how many people can't wait for real football?
I'm going to keep this short, Micheal-Micheal-Micheal!
What can I say that hasn't been already said???!!!! Just when you thought he learned his lesson, he makes people confirm their opinions, "that he's an idiot...." If Vick reads this, please dude, take my advice to heart for real, you know the stipulations of your parole. You know a lot of people that say you are a screw up and never deserves a chance ever again is waiting for this very thing to get you out of here. The problem is these young kids, especially trying to be athletes or big time entertainers and celebrities think you can do the same-thing you did back in the neighborhoods you grew up from. Then people who may/may not care and love you, just support any foolish things you do because of money power and fame. So you feel you can do any of the old things you did in the past but I can sweep it under the rug. Look, when you get a dream job like playing in the NFL, you can not party like you did when you were a kid. That's why being an adult is different than being a kid. Futher more, when you say that," I'm devoting my life back to GOD, those wild parties you are so use to is not a good idea to go with people ou know may cause some nonsense during the night. No-one is perfect but your thinking and commonsense has to set in before your actions now. You have kids and a wife to look after and you keep jeopardizing your future, any potential earnings, creditability(if any), business, and respect for a few hours of foolishness. I had your back to, but you need to keep quite and do things with your family at home. Vick has to learn that most of these owners know how talented a player might be but really could care less when it involves their money.. You are no exception, and when you push them to the limit, your a liability that can and will be replaced. Example, T.O., SANTONIO HOLMES, ETC.,ETC.WHY EVEN GO ON.... I'm not saying they should trade him, but if it happens, surprise would not be any reaction. To the kids coming up, your past actions could and may effect your dangling future. And just as important, you are not GOD: Meaning, you can not do whatever you feel like doing and think you will have it done that way forever because you may have huge pockets now.
