Pics: A's vs Royals Monday Night
Here are pictures from tonight's game. The only reason there was any people at this game is because they gave away a ton of tickets at the moneyball shoot. Slightly long post. Apologize in advance.

Baron is having surgery tomorrow.
He has some things floating around in his knee. Found in MRI. Will have surgery tomorrow. Will be back sometime this season. Just reported on KNBR.
This is definately not good news to our playoff push. Oh well, what ya gonna do.
Just a little more word to submit this. So I will ramble a bit. and a little bit more and more. and more.
Baron Game Time Decision
Baron may not play tonight. He is a game time decision vs. the Indiana Pacers. This is what Fitz just said on his radio show.
Are chances will really suck if Baron doesnt play tonight.
So will Dunleavy go for 40 tonight. Were great at making crappy players look good.
They also still don't know yet if Murphy will play, but things are not looking good.
This is the Game Day Thread: Warriors vs. Bobcats Game #48
Where's todays game thread?
Unless I'm just watching a tape of a game. The Warriors are playing the Bobcats right now. Tie game 9-9.
From cbs sportsline
Al Harrington will try to put together another big performance when the Warriors visit the Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday, the teams' second matchup in eight days.
Harrington scored off a spin move in the paint with 1.2 seconds remaining to help the Warriors beat Philadelphia 102-101 on Friday, snapping a six-game road losing streak for Golden State (22-25) for its first win after back-to-back losses to begin a six-game road trip.
The Bobcats (17-29) had their modest two-game winning streak snapped with a 101-81 loss to Cleveland on Friday. It was the first time in five games that Charlotte failed to reach 100 points, though the team played without several injured players.Point guard Brevin Knight, forward Sean May and centers Primoz Brezec and Othella Harrington all missed the game. Gerald Wallace had 16 points two days after scoring a career-high 42 in a win over New York.
Bad brake for Murphy
Wait that title is kinda wrong if you know what I mean. It happened again.
Pacers C Troy Murphy left in the first quarter after being hit in the face by a Lakers player while trying to grab a defensive rebound. Murphy broke his nose and did not return. Was quoted from cbs sportsline. http://cbs.sportsline.com/nba/gamecenter/recap/NBA_20070202_LAL@IND
Can we get rid of the limit for these posts. Or can we at least make it fewer characters needed.
NBA's High-Scoring Duos
Here's a little list for some weekend fun. Out of the top 10 they have on here, Warriors make it three times.
Nice to see a little respect somewhere.
Also some nice shots of some old Warrior jerseys.

Old ball is back
Starting Jan. 1st The NBA is returning to the old ball. After listening to the players complaints, the nba agreed to go back to the leather ball.
So I need to write more about this so I can post this. So jibber jabber jibber jabber.
And more Jibber jabber jibber jabber jibber jabber.

City Jersey's
I know we all love the City Jersey's. But I was checking out photo galleries at Fox Sports. They have a 10 ugliest sport uniforms gallary. When I was shocked to see #9 was the city jersey. The 70's Astros uniforms dont make the list , but ours does.
People may have seen this already, but here is the list.

Hope it kills time till the Warriors actually have another game.
All Star Ballots
Did anyone else notice the Warriors bribes to fill out All Star ballots. This is the first time I've ever seen anything like this. They have different scales of gifts depending on how many ballots you fill out. Fill out 35 I believe and get a chain to hold tickets around your neck. Fill out 50 and get a Magnetic schedule. Fill out 100 and get a media guide. There were also posters and t-shirts I think fro around 50. Alot of the stuff was left overs from game giveaways. Well I picked up a media guide and schedule for a mere 150 ballots filled out.
New Ball here to stay
Even though there are plenty of people who don't like it. Stern came out and said that the ball is here to stay. Maybe players just are complaining about change. Maybe in the long run they will be happier. I guess we will just have to see.
Maybe the new ball was designed to prohibit the Warriors from finally making the playoffs. At least I will use that excuse if they don't make it.
New site Poll
Just trying to see what everyone else out there thinks of the new site. Which way do you like it? Just trying to help out the makers of the site with keeping the people happy.
Any suggestions maybe to help out?
Am I the only one that preferred the old site alot more. I just feel it's to bright and not that easy on the eyes.
Go Warriors.
