It would be fantastic to see a double-double from young Dub Jeremy Tyler. A 30 point effort from Klay Thompson would be dandy. Mikki Moore putting up a better stat line than Anthony Randolph would be hilarious. An actual drawn up play from head "coach" Mark Jackson would be shockingly welcome.

This is a forward thinking left coast hoops community, but to be honest we've been a little behind the times with this site's current branding. As you know the Golden State Warriors logo and color-way are no longer the navy blue, orange, and yellow theme this site uses. We will be updating both the color-way to match the new lighter blue and brighter yellow and of course the... LOGO. The unveiling will either be the 1st day of 2012 or the first GSoM Night this season.
For the nearly 6 years of Golden State of Mind's existence there has been only one logo with two tweaks, so this isn't something trivial.
We're looking for something that we can all rally around that makes us feel unstoppable even when our favorite hoops squad is surrendering yet another career night to a recent D-League call-up, former draft bust, or 12th man.

The Warriors kick of the preseason with their first of 2 games against the Sacramento Kings tonight at the Oracle. This should be preview of what's to come in May.
No, I mean NBA lottery. An injury here and an injury there and these two teams could be fighting for the Western Conference cellar. These are two awful basketball teams. Well I'm happy the Sacramento didn't lose the Kings at least. Those are good hoops fans.
Keith Smart looks back on coaching Warriors [SFGate]- I don't think Coach Smart was perfect by any stretch last season, but I'd much rather have him in year 2 with the Warriors than Mark Jackson who has as much coaching experience in the NBA as I do. Thank you Coach Smart for your 7 years here. Much respect.

Biedrins has 2 years remaining plus an additional player option for $9 million annually. Something tells me he's going to pick up that option in 2013-2014.
