Who would you rather face: McNabb or Bradford?
There's an interesting story being floated by Adam Schefter that Philly traded McNabb because they didn't want to have to face Sam Bradford twice a year for the next decade. If Washington spent two draft picks on acquiring McNabb, then they wouldn't draft Bradford. While I really doubt that Bradford drops past St.Louis, the thought of Washington having a QB who could turn out to be another Matt Ryan would be terrible for Dallas.
UFC not impressive in person
In light of all the excitement about the UFC coming to Cowboys Stadium, I've got to admit that I am not that interested. I live in Dallas and had pretty good seats for 103, yet I don't have any desire to go to watch another fight live. I've watched just about every pay-per-view since '04, so I am not an ignorant noobie. It was just having to sit around so many stupid, drunk fans that ruined the 103 experience. I do think everyone should go to at least one live event, but unless I get some outstanding free tickets to see Brock vs. Fedor fight in Cowboys Stadium, I will be watching at home. Anyone else not that impressed with the live event or did I just get unlucky bad experience?
Shawn Andrews
Profootballtalk.com has reported that Shawn Andrews was released today. Some of you might remember that when Andrews came out of Arkansas, Jerry was interested, but he went a few spots earlier to Philadelphia. He's been a pro bowler twice, but he's only played in two games in the last two years because of injuries and depression. There is even some speculation that he might not want to play again (Edit- Though Andrews states he wants to play on his twitter account). For an incentive laden contract, it seems like a decent chance to salvage a promising career, just like Dallas did with Columbo. So what are the chances that Jerry offers him a low-risk high reward contract and do you think Jerry should?
