Which was the better game?

The way I see it, so far this season, we have seen two spectacular hockey games from the Blues this season.

(1. This afternoon's tilit in Boston.

(2. The shootout win against Chicago at home earlier in the season.

Both games were competitive, (and both featured an amazing shootout goal by Oshie) but which, in your mind, was more fun to watch? Or you can make a case for your own submission...but I think out of the whole season thus far, these two games stand above the rest.

Trading Andy Mcdonald?!?

Some of you might have caught this today, but Puck Daddy ran a piece about deadline deals, and the players most likely to be dealt from basement teams to playoff contenders.

"Kevin Allen of USA Today offered his Top 10 rentals in the second half of the season, and here they are in order: Jay Bouwmeester, Keith Tkachuk, Mathieu Schneider, Andy McDonald, Nik Antropov, Doug Weight, Bill Guerin, Marian Gaborik, Maxim Afinogenov and Sean O'Donnell."

For the record, I am okay with trading off Walt for future considerations or younger players. He's been a great player who has given this club alot with his time here, but I think Tkachuk is expendable at this point in time. Andy Mcdonald, on the other hand, is FAR too valuable to this club to be dealt for draft picks. This guy scored 85 points in 2005 with the Ducks; if he stays healthy, he is a consistent goal scorer. Why would we trade a guy who still has potential and can be a force on the scoresheet?

I mean, I would love to get more solid prospects in St.Louis (my heart still races at the thought of Tavares in a Blues jersey), but at this time, we're knee deep in prospects. Even some prospects that may even be ready to play in the NHL next season (Piertrangelo, Junland). I have to wonder if Mcdonald would even be worth moving for another kid who will take a couple of years to hit his stride when we have a 30-35 a year goal scorer already in our locker room.

Your thoughts?
