Mr. Governor, Could you please explain what actions you took, as a Board of Trusties member, when you found out that Jerry Sandusky was being investigated for molesting children, possibly some on the campus? Did you take any steps to ensure that Mr Sandusky was removed from the facilities and that his Second Mile organization was informed?

Mr Governor, When you found out that another Board of Trusties member knew of the 1998 investigation and the 2002 investigation, what steps did you take to ensure that other administration officials knew that there were two incidents known to a Penn State official?

Mr Governor, Would you feel that, morally, you did all you could to protect other children after you found out that Penn State officials did not act on the 2002 incident?

Is hiding behind the fact that there is an ongoing investigation a morally responsible position when there is a chance that other children could be at risk? Should we not go above and beyond our official duties, not trusting the system that is in place to protect children?

PSU topped Michigan 24-12 to take first place at the Virginia Duals  The Lions topped Kent St 27-15 to make the finals While Michigan upset Lehigh 21-18.  Kellen Russell eeked out another 1 pt win over Andrew Alton 2-1 so round three should be interesting.  Long won by major, Taylor by tech fall and Ruth got a big pin.  Along with Alton's loss the other wrestlers that lost were Vollrath, Fischer and Ortega.  Though they loss, the fact they didn't give up any bonus points was big.  Vollrath fought off his back  in the first, Fischer was giving up a pile of weight, as he weighed in at 165 but wrestled 184 and Ortega fought to keep off of his back his entire match  Overall a great showing.   Wright will add a lot to the lineup and it seems he may be back for the Pitt match.  Doesn't seem like 165 is settled yet with Vollrath and Kemmerer each getting 2 matches.  It also appears that the Cael is going with Pataky and Long over Martellotti and Pearsall.  Tough break for both of them but Pataky and Long looked great this weekend.

PSU is currently in first place, team wise.  Church at 197 and Vollrath at 157 have lost.  This is a two day tournament and has a lot of solid teams as I try to get close to the word minimum.  Looks like Taylor and Wade are top seeds with Molinaro as two seed.  Just updated, looks like Martellotti lost to Mark Rappo in the second round.

I was checking out Adam Rittenburg's blog this morning and came across this interview.  I think its a couple days old but it is still interesting.  Herbstreit is quite tough on TP, though he kind of gives OSU and Tressle a pass.  SVP is very critical and also adds an interesting comment from Urban Meyer towards the end of the podcast.  Maybe Meyer got out because he can't stand the pre-madonna attitude of the 5 star players he feels he needs to recruit to win.  The entitlement issue is what SVP seems to be pressing.

I always have people ask me where my wife gets her PSU buttons for all of the games.   She orders them from Citizen's Bank.  If you live in State College, I believe you can order them at the local branch but if you are not in town you can get your own set sent to you.  You get buttons for all of the games, not just home games and if PSU plays in a bowl, they send you  one for the bowl game.  Very nice to have, especially on an undefeated season.
