CelticsBlog ESPN's new name: Comcast SportsNet Cleveland

I don't know why does ESPN keep coming back to the BOGUS (built-in excuse) of an elbow injury for LeBron James?? I did some box score research to show that it’s all just a sham. No one with a “sprained elbow” could pull this off…

Lebron’s stats Games 1-4:

G1: 50% shooting, 35 points….
G2: 46% shooting, 24 points….
G3: 63% shooting, 38 points….
G4: 44% shooting, 22 points….

Now all of a sudden Queen James shockingly goes 21% shooting from the field in game 5 with 15 points (9 points coming on FT's) it's back to the built-in elbow excuse again.

This is an excerpt from ESPN.com's article post Celtics-Cavaliers Game 5:

James, on the verge of an expected trip into free agency on July 1, had an atrocious game. He scored 15 points on 3-of-14 shooting, a startling outing for the 25-year-old who has been playing with a sprained elbow.

Lebron has been exposed, and he’s really making me sick. Anyone else?

CelticsBlog "Lucky" the mascot let go by the team

In a shocking turn of events, "Lucky" the Celtics' diminutive dancing and dunking mascot was let go by the team recently. The Celtics commented and revealed that Lucky was dismissed due to not showing up for charity events and didn't see eye to eye with management.

Being a children's favorite (but annoying to anyone over 12 attending Celtics games), and an appearance on Conan O'Brien doing his now boring and repetitive routine within the last couple weeks surely did not point to Lucky being let go.

Personally? I'm just happy that we won't have to hear PA Announcer Eddie Palladino squeak during play-by-play of Lucky's show with the also annoying "LLLLLLLLLLLLLUCKY!!! WITH THE DIPSY-DOO FOR TWO!!"... Unfortunately we are still stuck being asked.. "WHOOOOOOOOOOOO WANTS A T-SHIRT!!?

If it were up to me, I'd have the Celtics should put some real consideration into finding a spot-on “Gino” look-alike to replace Lucky.. but only to come out when the game is a lock and the legend himself is on 'CelticVision.' As long as he is not running around annoying people with the green hands that are bigger than he is and leaping over barricades and seats as if he were an Olympic hurdler, I'd be perfectly content.

CelticsBlog Eric Mangini= The "great" equalizer

I know this sounds like nothing but a conspiracy theory but.... do you think that knowing the Baltimore game was out of hand....and they had no chance to make the playoffs....that Eric Mangini told Favre to throw that pick to keep Belichick out of the playoffs so that their seasons had "equal results?" That may have been the worst throw of Brett Favre's career but MAY have not been his call. Get back to me.
