Rumor has it that Gullen plus cash may be traded to the Mets for Angel Pagan. Looks like Angel is about a 1 WAR player to me. He looks to be slightly above average with his glove, slightly above average with his bat (in the NL). Was worth 2.8 WAR last year which was his best year.

Ok, so lets make a deal with the Cubs, say Bradley for Guillen and Meche. Bradley is under contract for two years at $10 million a year, Guillen is under contract for $12 million next year and Gil Meche for 2 years $12 million each. Bradley could be a great DH and hit behind Billy, and we pick up $16 million in payroll flexability.
