Good morning Marlin fans! I'm a lifelong diehard Pirate fans spreading what's potentially good news heading your way. According to this website

http://www.theinsideronpittsburghsports.com-a.googlepages.com/floridainquiresaboutnatemclouth

The Florida Marlins are going after potential All-Star Nate McLouth. In return the Marlins are offering 4th OF Josh WIllingham plus a couple top prospects. After looking into the top prospects in your organization I am not impressed. Sure there's Cameron Maybin but the jury's still out on him. I'd love to have Andrew Miller. He's very suitable for PNC Park. His stuff alone would make him the Bucco ace but is rather inexperienced as expected.

For those not familiar with McLouth he is having a breakout season that has even rivaled that of Andy Van Slyke in those glory NL East division winning days back in the early 90s. McLouth has a .290 BA and leads the Buccos with 15HR and 51 RBIs. He has been batting leadoff for most of the season which has benefitted his .376 OBP. His 928 OPS is also a team best.

For a team that's only 2GB of the struggling Phillies for 1st place as well as being ahead of underacheivers Atlanta and the Mets you fans should be stoked by the news. I still believe, however, that the Marlins need a proven ace to put this team over-the-top and prep up for another World Series run. (1997, 2003, 2008?)

I hope to heck Neal Huntington, the Buccos GM, ignores the call. If it somehow happens you guys should be thankful. What do you think? Should the deal go down? If so, who should the Marlins give away?
