Real progress and inteligent negotiating on the soon to be over lockout front.
Well from what I read in this article some real headway has been made. The kind that could give us even more competitive rookies. I gather that shortening the rookie contract and backloading the deal will cause the newbies to play with their hair on fire. This is good news, check it out.
Michael Floyd may join the supplemental draft.
I know our F.O. has been notoriously against signing potential problem cases but this guy may be worth the risk. I'm not to educated concerning the supplemental draft but I would venture to say whatever this guy would require it would likely be worth it.
Would be rookie Von Miller is involved in the anti-trust lawsuit against owners.
Very unusual to say the least. We do not know how this thing will play out but I'm not sure if taking the guy who is about to hire you to court is very bright. What do you guys think?

THE BALL HAWKS MOCK DRAFT for Falcons 1.0
Below I will offer my picks and a short blurb with a link to the CBSsports.com scouting report. Please remember I am niether a proffesional scout or a literary genius so don't kill me. I do welcome your criticism and opinion. So lets get at it!
1. OT Nate Solder
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1114291
I believe Nate would be a home run for us. He could compete for one of those starting spots on the O line right away and frankly, the way Sam Baker usually starts the season Nate could light a fire under his hind end.
2. WR Titus Young
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1274396
Titus has been catching passes from a junior Matt Ryan his entire college career. He has blistering speed that can really stretch the field. I really think between him and weems we can solve our WR woes.
3. OLB Bruce Carter
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1242983
I know Bruce is damaged goods and thats why I have him dropping to the third round. This guy has what it takes to dominate at the next level. I believe we have system in place to let him get it back together after a rough senior season.
4. RB Shane Vareen
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1273006
We would be doing well shoud he fall this far but I really think he may. From what I have seen of Shane he is a true dual threat in that he can run it right up the gizzard M.M style and take the edge either running or in the screen package.
5. CB Justin Rodgers
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1258550
He is the next Brent Grimes, a QB's nightmare. I believe he is a steal in this draft as he comes from a small school with little recognition. This dude is a freaking ball hawk, I know, I are one.
6. RB Alex Green
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=480922
If we do not re-sign Jason Snelling I want Alex to take his spot. Folks, 18 TD's in 2010 alone and he boasted an 8.2 ypc to boot.
7. SS Dom DeCicco
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1243171
Dom was part of a Pro style defense that was famous for shutting down explosive offenses. He is a big talented guy and would provide depth if needed.
I composed this draft under the assumption we will handle our most grave need of DE in free agency.
Feel free to destroy my mock guys.
AND GO!!!!!!

How the Falcons could capitalize from someone elses mistakes
This previosly top rated draft prospect will have to wait to be picked up in the supplemental draft. This looks like the perfect project for us as it would essentially be an extra 1st round pick.
