Pooh Jeter steers a yacht while he gives an interview!
Although there is no replacement for the Brockness Monster, I think Pooh Jeter will be the Kings new underdog fan favorite this year.
"Everybody's trying to team up now to try to beat Kobe...So I guess me and Tyreke Evans and Stephen Curry should all call each other in the next two years and try to hook up and play on the same team."
Tyreke Evan's game winning shot was very nice but I found this play from last night's win just as entertaining.
Truth About It: Frame by frame of Tyreke Evan's (non)steal
Here is a frame by frame of Gilbert Arenas getting his pocket picked. The reason I say "(non)steal" is because Tyreke was not actually credited for a steal on the play.
Old age, injuries and a series of bad personnel moves sent the Sacramento Kings spiraling from the team with the NBA’s best record to the one with the worst during a seven-year slide....The only franchise in the past 35 seasons to go from best to worst faster than the Kings did was the post-Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls, who fell off in three years.
Kings preview and Kings insults at ESPN.com
Mike Yam and Tim Legler claim they and their camera crew could take the Kings. If I am Coach Westphal, I am using these clips as motivation during practice.
Israel's Omri Casspi is King, NBA pioneer for his country - USA Today
Omri Casspi single-handedly might be changing the goals of young basketball players in Israel. 'When I was young, I dreamed to play with Maccabi, the biggest club in Israel,' Casspi said. 'Now the kids can dream about playing in the NBA, because we've got somebody over there.' That man is Casspi, who last month, after playing for Maccabi Tel Aviv, became the first player from Israel taken in the first round of the NBA draft, at No. 23. The 6-9 Sacramento Kings forward could become the first Israeli to play in the NBA this fall. Just about everything is a first these days for Casspi. Until he made his debut for the Kings on Friday in the NBA Summer League, no Israeli had gotten even that close to the league. 'It's not pressure on me, but there's a lot of expectations going on,' Casspi said. 'My country is on my back.'"
Robert Horry can't find his seven championship rings!
I suspect a King's fan is behind this.
Pitino in running for Kings job
Rick Pitino has emerged as a candidate for the Sacramento Kings’ coaching job, multiple sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Pitino has communicated his interest in a possible NBA return to Kings ownership, sources say, and one league official describes the Maloof family as "intrigued."
"Back in the day when we had a rivalry going, it was much louder and we had the guy with the cowbell going. Come back guy with the cowbell." - Shaq
More analysis on Ron-Ron trade by Johnny Ludden
I can't get enough of reading about this trade even if everyone seems to be echoing eachother. I find myself just as excited for Houston as I am for the Kings.

Brad and Hedo: Players of the Week
The headline says it all. With Brad's two double-doubles animal style (coming against respectful rebounders Ben Wallace and Tyson Chandler to boot), he earned himself the Player of the Week award. It's been a while since a King has received that honor. I think the last time was K-Mart sometime last year. (Yep. -TZ) Who would have thought Ex-King Hedo would come out and play like he has this season? Incredible. I'm very happy for him.
