So what started as an extremely awesome Twitter conversation with Spock and Bammer ended up taking a life of its own, and now it has become more than meets the eye (yep, that just happened). This thread is for our very own creations, partly because it's incredibly awesome and partly because we are incredibly bored. Either way, enjoy and please show us your paint/photoshop skills and join in (those that are young enough to remember). Somewhere on Twitter there is a list of extremely rad names we came up with, and we'll get those out in a bit. Only rule - NICK SABAN IS OPTIMUS PRIME.

Apparantly I was unbanned and then rebanned, I assume for something I said here (since I haven't posted over there), various "fuck auburns" or other barn-hating posts. Thing is, I didn't realize that was a bannable offense? Are these assholes that insecure that they are trolling our site to see what we are posting and then banning RBR members on their site? Or is Jay just a pussy that can't accept constructive criticism or the fact that someone doesn't like him or his the JV way he runs that "blog" without resorting to "OMG TROLLZ!!!"? What a bunch of assholes in charge over there (except Acid Reign, still like that guy even though he is a Barn homer).
New Oregon Basketball Arena
Wow. Just, wow. We will never see anything like this down south. We have the cream of the crop when it comes to football and most athletic facilities, but this arena is ridunculous.

On the news last night (ABC 33/40 in Birmingham) they reported that Kirby Smart accepted the DC job at Florida. I haven't heard/read this anywhere else, and I have looked. Has anyone heard this or was it an error on their part?

Guys take this with a grain of salt...posted by user redfish on Tider Insider, who has a history of being a respectable and long-term user. Obviously, I don't know if any of this is true or it could be a load of bullshit, but I found it interesting enough to share with you when it was forwarded to me this morning. I typically don't buy into rumours without any sort of hard evidence/facts easily available, but again just something to ponder that may or may not come to fruition.

Not to get too far ahead of ourselves, but I am going out of town for work Sunday and not sure how much Internet/cell phone access I will have. I missed being in T-town for the Penn State game, but hoping some of you are planning on being in town for the game. I'll be there early, and will be at Egans with my boy Bo. So, let us know who plans on being there. I'll compile and repost Thursday/Friday. In the meantime, pray for me this week. A week in Cullman...woo-hoo.

Bobby Bowden to Attend PSU/Bama game
Per Ivan Maisel's 3-point stance, "Bobby Bowden grew up an Alabama fan. When Florida State played Alabama in Jacksonville in 2007, Bowden, a Birmingham native, told me that when he retired, he wanted to attend a game a Bryant-Denny Stadium. Alabama athletic director Mal Moore told me that Bowden has accepted an invitation to the Crimson Tide’s game on Sept. 11 against Penn State. Bowden will see his childhood team play against the team of his old friend and competitor, Joe Paterno. Very cool."
I'm going to Bama!
This will be my second Masters, but the cirriculum is much more in depth than my previous MSM. I started at Alabama in 1995 as an Environmental Engineer Major, but transferred to UAB due to personal distractions. This will be a personal victory for me, to step back on campus and get my degree!
