Roll 'Bama Roll The Deal with Television Coverage in the SEC this Season.

ed. - bumped from the fanposts

I have seen a lot of people on RBR talking about where all the games are going to be and when they would be broadcast, so I decided that I would try and make it as clear as possible so that we can go ahead and put this topic to rest.

Here's the order of the Television Broadcasts

1. CBS Game of the Week- 2:30ish
2. ESPN-Primetime
3. ESPN 2-Primetime
4. FSS-Primetime
5. SEC Netwok(formerly Raycom/Lincoln Financial/Jefferson Pilot)-11:30 a.m.
6. ESPNU-Primetime
7. ESPNU-Noon
8. CSS-Afternoon
9. PPV-6ish
-Also note that CBS has two doubleheaders scheduled: 10/10-Alabama-Ole Miss and Florida-LSU and 11/28 Which has yet to be announced.
-Each team will have ONE game this season on PPV.
-ESPN has to televise all possible games.
-Most big nonconference games(Alabama-VT, UGA-OK State) will be on ABC.

Roll 'Bama Roll Trent Richardson to wear #3

Trent Richardson will wear number 3 this year for us. And before anyone asks, "What number is Kareem Jackson going to wear?" he is also wearing #3. You can wear the same number as long as you are on opposite sides of the ball. For example, Julio and Chris Rogers. I haven't heard what the other freshmen are wearing( Todd, Nico, OTS a little help?), but I do know James Carpenter is wearing #77, for those who didn't pay attention at all to the A-Day Game. I think it is kind of wierd that he would pick #3 considering that that's traditionally a DB number. But maybe that is why he picked it, to cement his own legacy. I thought #8 was an odd choice for Julio last year, but it looked really good. Also, Kareem Jackson is my boy BTW.

Block U Utah deserves a share of the National Championship-from a Tide fan

I hated Utah. I hated everything about them for about three days. I thought to myself, "This is so embarassing! It would have been different if it were USC or Texas." But then I stopped myself. Why would have it been different? Then I got to thinking, Utah is an extremely good football team. In fact, they are way more deserving than USC and Texas. The more and more I thought about it, I realized why. USC and Texas are from BCS conferences, Utah is not. USC and Texas are traditional football powers, Utah is not. This reason made me realize that the reason people don't want to accept that Utah deserves it is because they aren't SUPPOSE to deserve it. But Utah DOES deserve it. People, including myself, have got to swallow their traditional-BCS-powers-only pride and realize that what Utah did is a tremendous achievement. If Utah doesn't get a share of the National Championship, college football would basically be telling every single non-BCS team that they have ABSOLUTLEY NO CHANCE OF EVER WINNING A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. Because Utah could not have done anything better than what they did this year. Utah played a pretty tough schedule and a much better MWC than we expected and beat every team on it. People keep talking about how USC should get a shot, Utah BEAT the team that USC lost to a week later. Thursday night, Florida will beat Oklahoma and win the BCS National Championship. Utah deserves to be co-champs as well. If Utah doesn't, it will be a HUGE shame and blackeye to college football. I hope you guys can get it.
