Bright Side Of The Sun Future of the Suns.

Seeing as how I've failed to follow through on my word on being more active on this site, I find it appropriate that I break my silence at this point in time. The loss to Denver tonight was a cold slap to the nether-regions. I truthfully don't know  what to think of this team anymore. There is potential oozing out the seams of this ball club, but unfortunately potential doesn't win games. I'm stubborn in the fact that I still don't believe that the season is truly over for us. Despite our deficiencies, it's hard not to look at the talent the team has and still see slightest ray of hope. This blog is appropriately named "Bright Side" for a reason, I'm sure. So in the spirit of broken spirits, I figured I'd throw out some whimsical nonsense of some potential options moving forward.

Bright Side Of The Sun Redux?

Well, do to the fact I lacked any inspiration for a more catchy title, I settled for what came first to mind. The purpose? Cause I'm back! Well, technically I was never notably here other than some comments here, and a fan post or two there. Do to my location though, I'm about to become a hardcore BrightSider like the rest of you fine folks on here. I have to live off watching only Nationally Televised games of the Suns... but I digress. The real purpose was to shed some light (or just my opinion) on this years team and the first game and such, but I need to get re-acclimated quite a bit to save you from my my ramblings and rants over poorly supported irrelevancies. Until next time... Go Suns!

Bright Side Of The Sun Almost every potential or likely option for the Suns in the 2010 Off-season

The title might be slightly misleading as I'm not exactly using every possibility but rather the redundant options, with my opinion added on. Many will continue to laugh at the recurring possibility of certain players coming here, but I feel I make solid cases for them, despite the lack of statistics (Sorry I'm not John Hollinger). This post is either sparked from pure boredom, lack of new news on the NBA front, or some other form of strange, astronomical reason that I can't imagine. Feel free to blame me for any misinformation of fact, typing error, etc. Here we go...

Bright Side Of The Sun Suns are Ghost Contenders for the Title.

Looking back, the past 10 champs have all had certain things in common. Not just being that it was either the Lakers or the Spurs for 7 of those 10. Here's the crazy thing....the Suns fit into that same mold.

Bright Side Of The Sun Come Home Shawn

As I sit here thinking what to write, it dawned on me...

I could list reason, upon reason as to why you should come back. Most of which would pertain to us Suns fans who have long since missed your undeniably amazing talent and effort you put forth while in a Suns Uniform.

But that wouldn't be meaningful enough...

I'll just say what possibly every one of your fans has thought at one time or another.

Whether or not you see it to be true, or anyone else for that matter, you were the heart and soul of the Phoenix Suns. You gave your all as much as you possibly could. We couldn't ask for anymore than that. Not one true Suns fan could deny the passion with which you played. So many of our biggest moments in this teams history could not have been accomplished with out you...

I can understand how you wanted to be "the man" of a contending team and not want to be in the shadow of either Steve or Amar'e, but that's what made you so valuable to us. No one else could appreciate the intangible things you did the same way us Suns fans do. They might say they could...but they can't. You always had a knack for being in the right place in the right time...

This maybe a personal bias but I feel strongly that it is true. No other fans have appreciated you more than those in Phoenix. We were the ones who watched you blossom from Rookie to an All Star. You helped contribute to one of the most entertaining teams in recent history and whether or not you were getting national praise you were definitely getting it at the place that mattered most....home.

So please, take a look back at the last couple years and your time in Miami and Toronto. And then think about your time in Phoenix...

I won't say that it'll be exactly like before if you come back....but consider it.

Bright Side Of The Sun Why the Suns won't rebuild...yet.

There has been all this speculation as to whether the suns are going to blow this team up. I honestly don't think that is going to happen...yet. The only true indication of what is going to happen hinges on Nash's future in my opinion. Here are my thoughts...

Bright Side Of The Sun Three team Shaq trade Idea

This idea is basically just a combination of some of the shaq trade ideas.

It involves Cleavland, New Orleans, and of course Phoenix.

Cleavland gets - Shaquille O'neal

New Orleans gets - Ben Wallace, Sasha Pavlovic

Phoenix gets - Tyson Chandler, other parts to make the salaries mesh

The cavs will get a better compliment to Lebron than Z and Varejao, The hornets get cap relief and phoenix gets basketball value with a couple mil possibly in relief.

Not original by any means but I it gives the suns value, which I prefer. Especially since the Shaq to Cleavland Idea only helped the cavs get better on the court.

As for the hornets in this trade...I'm not really a follower but they do want cap relief and who knows, they might even keep Sasha.

Please feel free to critique this anyway you'd like
