Avid Sportsfan. Played Single A baseball until I blew out my shoulder decades ago. Married with two wonderful step daughters, a perfect 4 month old son, who will throw 95-98 and have a wicked knuckleball like his old man.

If Figgins leaves...
Just a thought about what to do if Figgins departs for greener money, er pastures. We need a leadoff man. Here's my proposal. First re-sign Bobby Abreau as the Right Fielder. Then we make this trade.
We send Rafael Rodriguez, Trevor Bell and Terry Evans to the Tampa Bay Rays for Carl Crawford. We then sign Crawford to an extension.
This gives all you guys have have wood for Brandon Wood just what you desire as he becomes the third basemen, ( until mid June when his .167 avg. finally lands his useless butt on the bench for Izturis).
Also if we do not bring back Guerrero, we move Rivera to Dh.
And i have to throw this in. Since HGH really wants out, and it looks like Lackey is going too, lets trade HGH and cash to the Cincinnati Reds for Bronson Arroyo. And don't tell me the guy can't pitch. Nobody, not even Cliff Lee had a better final 12 starts than Arroyo.
Anyway, just a thought on something we could do to improve the team without spending a ton of cash.
First Angel Game Memories
Remember your first Angels game?
I was reminiscing after looking at the vintage pics of the Big A and got to thining about my very first Angel game. Do you remember yours?
It was a double header in 1975, the Royals were in town. Game 1 was Steve Busby and Nolan Ryan. Great matchup. Angels beat the Royals 1-0 and Ryan threw a 2 hitter.
Game 2 matched Dennis Leonard and Frank Tanana. The Big Banana was on his game striking out 13 Royals and giving up 1 hit as the Angels took game 2 by a score of 5-0.
Since that night I have been an Angels fan. Been to over 200 games in 21 years before moving out of the state. Angels have won over 170 of those games.
What was your first game?
