What Could We get for Markakis and/or Roberts?
Of course this is the unthinkable to many of you. Some may want to tar and feather me for even thinking of us trading Nick or Brian. But this team is a losing team with Nick and BRob. It could be a losing team without them as well. However this losing must stop and management must have the balls to trade popular players to get the right mix of guys here to win. Milt Pappas was as popular as any player the Orioles had at the time. But without that trade which brought Frank Robinson to Birdland we may not have played the Dodgers in 1966 to become world champs. This team needs help. We can not win with the players we have. If Nick can bring us a corner infielder, some top line prospects, and we can patch right field with 15-20 hrs and 90 RBIs I say lets do it. This has nothing to do with my love and fondness of our players. I just want to win and we don't have a lot to offer other than Nick to get players to Baltimore that perform. With Roberts, Markakis, Jones and Wieters we are a losing team. Hard to imagine but it is true. The future is coming with Tillman, Arietta, Bergenson, Erbe and other young arms but if we can't score, hit with 2 outs, run the bases and treat each at bat like it is the last we will waste those young arms. What are your thoughts on a trade that would change the completion on this team. Please excuse the mistakes. I don't type well and I am now putting on my body armor for incoming rounds.

105.7 The Fan proposes trades for Halladay
While channel surfing I heard Mark Zino, producer/engineer for the Bruce Cunningham and Scott and Anita show proposing a Nolan Reimold as a player to include in a trade for Roy "Doc" Halladay of the Blue Jays. What do you think? Maybe we should call him and tell him the Orioles are not going to trade the future for a guy we can not sign or would only want to play in Baltimore anyway. I personally would not trade Reimold but you never know.

Aubrey Huff Moves to 3rd Base in 2010
I want to hear comments on Huff moving to 3rd base and leaving 1st base open for a June 2010 call up for Brandon Snyder. Aubrey has played 3rd base and is adequate at best. He has done a good job at first so far this season and with the same dedication and hard work he could be our 3rd baseman. Leaving Huff's power bat in the middle of our lineup is essential going forward. In the minors we have 3rd baseman Melvin Dorta at Norfolk hitting well. Moore is on the DL I believe and Bowie has a kid named Miguel Abreu hitting around .299. He plays 2nd but has had time at 3rd base this season. He makes a lot of throwing errors but his bat has pop and he has the "gene pool" to excel. Your thoughts?

Who Should the Orioles Draft
It is safe to say that Stephen Strasburg, RHP, San Diego State will be the first prospect selected by the Nationals. Good luck dealing with Scott Boras. But the O's draft later and I wonder who they will take. I am thinking more pitching with guys like Alex White, RHP, UNC or Matt Purke, LHP, TX. There is also a solid hitting short stop by the name of Grant Green from USC. This guy could be at Camden for the next 8-10 years. The draft is in June. What do you think?
