Buffalo Rumblings "All Together Now"!!!

If we can only get both sides of the ball to play well at the same time now. When the "Defense" plays half way okay the "Offense struggles, When the "Offense" shows up the "Defense" sleep walks! Enough already!!! Sometimes in life you just gotta admit you were wrong about a choice you've made and it's time the Bills brass do just that. Chris Kelsay continues to rub me the wrong way as a player, the guy's a complete-n-utter waste of space. Why on GOD's green earth did the Bills extend this guys contract? He should be relegated to "Special Teams" only for the remainder of his contract. Also Donte Whitner has to go, he means well but his selection that high in the draft was a mistake as well. He's undersized, can't cover, and has terrible hands and ball reaction skills. If he intercepts that pass today like he should have and taken it to the house I believe we win that game going away. If you think back to the "Packers" game he blew an opportunity for a pick six then as well while the game was very much in hand at that point.  If he makes that play who knows maybe that changes the outcome of that game.  Much props goes to " Cordaro Howard" for a job well done in his first start on the road against a defense like that. He did a great job today!  Paul Posluszny needs to go as well he misses on far more plays than he makes, combine that with durability concerns-n-the math's quite simple. Also I'd love to see the Bills move Eric Wood to center and start Kraig Urbik at rg. If  Cordaro Howard continues to play well and Demetrius Bell stays healthy and continues to devlop, the o-line (WHICH WAS VERY GOOD TODAY)  would then become a strenght. Give Ryan Fitzpatrick his do as well, he's showing he can play the position a little bit more than he's given credit for!! Who knows continual, improved O-line play and give Fitzpatrick a consistent TE threat (HELLO Shawn Nelson  WHERE ARE YOU?) and maybe drafting a qb ain't the top priority anymore. Not getting carried away but you gotta love Fitzpatrick's toughness and gun slinger attitude. He just needs to make better choices in key situations, but even still the fact he tries certain things you gotta love it once again! Much respect the man who always earns it Lee Evans and his running mate Steve Johnson! Bottom line Mr. Wilson you got some stiffs on this roster that need to be replaced, you do that-n-who knows maybe this wrong wrights its

Buffalo Rumblings I Know It's Early But.....

I know it's far too early to label James Hardy a bust, I'm well aware of this. However I must say I gotta feeling our receiver of the future did come from that draft class just not from The Big Ten-n-Indiana. It's more like Kentucky and The SEC, that's right people Steve Johnson seems to be getting it. Before you disagree consider this, he's got more t. d.s' (just 1 more) than Hardy and has played equal or less football as him. Also if you watch Johnson he at (a listed) 6'2 uses his body to shield off defenders far better than Hardy does at (a listed) 6'5. Maybe it's still too early, I would love for them both to be succesful, but I gotta feeling Steve Johnson is the future and not Hardy. What yall think, let me know? Bdot-n-I'm out. One!

Buffalo Rumblings Who Is This Guy Anyway?

J.P. Losman, who is this guy anyway? I say that because only an idiot can keep finding ways week after week to loose games for his football team. Let's start with the fumble. If you look at the replay you'll notice that as J.P. rolls out he gets grabbed by the blitzing player first before he knocks the ball loose. But you'll also notice that at no point does J.P. attempt to protect the ball, he almost looks as though he's in a daze as the play develops. Then on the next possesion he throws a half hearted pass to Robert Royal (who could've attacked the ball better, I can't stomache him either) which is intercepted. Then on the next possesion he almost throws the ball away on a pass that looks as though it was for a player 7 feet tall. What's up with that anyway, why all the high passes? How does a player this bad make it to the NFL in the first place? How is it  he could hide his inabilities that well to make a team go through what the Bills went through to draft this bum? That's right I said bum this guy puts the um in bum, I just call it like I see it and if anyone disagrees I would love to hear why. I would love to hear what this guy has done to make you say he's a half way decent player tell me please. His accuracy stinks, his numbers are pedestrian (pop warner qbs' pass for more yards than him), and he finds ways to constantly loose games! Also if another team gives this guy a job after what he's displayed thus far it makes a very strong statement about the NFL and what's really going on. Who is this guy anyway,  I'll be glad when we can say who was that guy anyway! Bdot and I'm out . One!!!

Buffalo Rumblings Why???????

What's up to the Bills Nation. Can somebody please tell me WHY this team even though thier season was at stake did not play with any urgency? Can somebody please tell me WHY on the Bills (first field goal miss drive) they didn't just run the dam ball instead of doing their Eagles impersonation? Can somebody please tell me WHY this team rufuses to accept the fact their base front can't consistently rush the passer and actually prussure the quaterback let alone sack him.Can somebody please tell me WHY this team allowed a 3 and 8 football team from the west coast to come in their east coast stadium at the end of November in inclement weather and not only beat them but keep them out of the end zone? IF anybody out there in the Bills nation knows the answers to these questions please tell me WHY?????? IT'S YA MAN Bdot-N-I'M Out!!!!!

Buffalo Rumblings Will The O And The D Lines Please Wake Up!!!!!

It doesn't take a genius to see what lost this game, poor line play in the trenches! People will try to blame Edwards for this loss but before you do consider this. When the line did keep opposing defenders off him he threw the ball well with the exception of one throw and even then I believe Royal (who I'm just plain sick of) should have made an attempt to meet the ball (and possibly draw a flag) instead of just allowing the defender to pick it off. I can't begin to say how sorry I feel for poor Marshawn, the only way he'll see an open lane is if he goes to a bowling alley. The O-line can't pass or run block as of late why this is I really don't know but what I do know is this is getting increasingly more sickening to watch. The D-line had ol Matt looken like Tom out there today just allowing the Patriots signal caller to pick their poor disadvanteged secondary apart at the seams. With that kind of time in the pocket a high school quaterback would've been succesful. Big Marcus Stroud is by far the best defensive linemen the Bills have but he needs help and he needs it now. Even if the Bills make a push and reel off a couple of wins against some weaker opponents to make the play offs this type of line play will equal an early exit. Trent and Marshawn will be fine as long as the lines hold up and if someone steps up to put consistent pressure on  the passer the entire defense will be energized.  I love Buffalo and that's never going to change, howvever when you see half hearted efforts being displayed like the ones displayed by both lines it makes it hard (but not impossible) to be optimistic. One more note what was up with Jauron being gun shy with the challenge flag. That clearly was not a catch and I believe had the challenge been made the game might have gone differently. Bdot-n-I'm out!!!!!!!!

Buffalo Rumblings This Isn't The Old AFC.

Let me begin by first saying I'm not taking anything away from what the (Miami) Dolphins have done thus far in this still young season. However I must stress "this isn't the old AFC"  where teams choose to utilize tricks and gadget plays/formatons as aposed to playing fundmentaly sound football as it's source to win games. Those days are long gone which is why I don't see the Dolphins and their "Wild Cat" formation beating any well coached team such as The Buffalo Bills. I am one of the many who feel the Bills would be 6-0 had Trent not gotten hurt in Arizona. Trent has that mystique about him that make you feel the Bills can win any game that he plays from start to finish. Look at the AFC teams that won the Super Bowl in the new millenium and one thing they all had in common is good fundamental football. That's not to say they never used a trick play but it wasn't their main source of winning either as is the case with the Dolphins. In the games the Dolphins won the "Wild Cat" formation was the main weapon in Miami's arsenal with traditional football taking a back seat. The Bills are a better team period, and it's gonna show tomorrow afternoon in Miami when these two teams take the field. For those who think differntly just tell me one thing people. What does the Dolphins do once "the Wild Cat" is tamed? Bdot and I'm out!!!!

Buffalo Rumblings SB Nation Opinion On McCargo

I want everyones opinion on McCargo in a possible position change. He's currently playing dt for the bills as we all know, but what if they move him to de replacing Kelsay in the line up. Consider this, everyone says we need more athleticism along the line and McCargo over Kelsay would give us just that. Would he be any less effective rushing the passer than Kelsay already is? McCargo's experience at dt would give him an inside track on stuffing the run so we would'nt lose out there. Tell me what you guys think. It's Bdot and I'm out.

Buffalo Rumblings Wanted Pass Rushing Defensive End!!!!

Let me begin by saying this is not a diss towards our current ends (Schobel and Kelsay) I'am simply stating the obvious. We need to be able to pressure/sack the quaterback without needing to blitz all the time to do so. Even if it's just a situational player for third down we need someone that we can count on to bring the heat to help get our defense off the field on third down because that's how you win consistently in the NFL. Maybe the Bills need to get rookie Chris Ellis on the field, maybe he could provide the Bills with the type of individual effort that's sorely lacking right now. Just look at the last three SuperBowl Champions and one thing they all have in common is they all had someone capable of administering pressure on the quaterback. When you can do this it makes the times you do blitz much more effective therefore you'll win more than you loose. Hopefully Chris can help and the Bills will give him a chance to.

Buffalo Rumblings Don't Get Alarmed!!!

Don't get alarmed by todays loss only be concerned with the health of Trent Edwards. This might have been a blessing in disguise because now there's no pressure of an undefeated season, and all Losman supporters found out how wrong he truly is for the job. If Trent can come back after the bye week Buffalo will be fine, but the bills cannot continue to allow him (Trent) to take clean shots like that. They're a different team with Edwards at the helm, a more efficient, more dynamic attack and that was painfully obviously today in the desert. Keep ya head up Bills fans better days are definitely ahead we're still 4-1 and 2-0 in the AFC. I still say (with a healthy Trent Edwards) it's our division to loose....."Buffalo for life baby"
