Major Wright to have a breakout year

Not sure where the Hitman (and Manning) went.... "He will pair with this year’s draft pick Chris Conte to give Chicago a very athletic pair at the safety position."

NFL.com news: Top Safetys - not one Bear

Daniel Manning received an honorable mention at 37. Is that a reason to let him walk?

Honoring Matt Forte

Was driving in Israel and saw that a car was named after Matt!

2011 53 man Fantasy/Reality Roster

Ok! A little too early but saw others doing it - lots of inspiration from here - so tried too see what I can come up with. I believe that due to the short training period available, the Bears will...

Adding insult to injury

Having the Bear pick at 16th, before the Lions mind you, and picking a WR..............

Could this be an Urlacher replacement?

Scroll down to the ILB. Also like the CB. And best of all, from Vanderbilt

Doesn't feel comfortable with Cutler? Didn't mention CB? Who is this guy?

Questions remain for Bears at linebacker

Lance Briggs: "They make us the best linebacking corps in the game. When you need a Pisa, you need a Nick. When you need a Nick, you need a Pisa. You have to have both of them."

UDFAs that Da Bears should target!

(Editor's note: Promoted to the front page) What started out as a mini-project of gauging the various mocks accuracy, ended up showing some extremely talented UFDAs that Da Bears should target. T...

Can't blame Jay for these!!!

50% of Jay's interceptions came on deep throws (over 20 yards), yet they were only 13.5% of his attempts. take away those interceptions, and you got a great QB/WR combo. Get OL protection now!! Saying we need another WR is like building the hospital under the bridge...........

Draftek almost has a nice final mock

29. Nate Solder LOT with Stefen Wisniewski OG and Stephen Paea DT as alternates. 62 Marvin Austin DT with Jarvis Jenkins DT and Benjamin Ijalana OG as alternates 93 Edmond Gates WR with Jake Kirkpatrick C and Tyler Sash FS as alternates 127 Greg Little WR with DeMarcus Van Dyke CB and Terrence Toliver WR as alternates 160 Kevin Kowalski OC with Rashad Carmichael CB and Cortez Allen CB as alternates 195 Greg Lloyd ILB Can live with all of them except Gates at round 3

The Bears Draft Hinges Around "Chris Williams"

With 8 days left to the draft, I'm sure we all have seen most of the mocks (especially Erik's with the tradedown to Arizona/others with Oakland/mine with Cincinnati), analyses, video clips and...

Have the Bears brought in any players for tryouts?

I'm reading about all the players visiting all the various teams, and have not seen anywhere about any players visiting the Bears. is this information confidential? Or are there some teams that...

Liuget (DT) in the first, Ijalana (OT/OG) in the second.

Which team will draft the first OT?

There are 5 first round OT available in this years draft and we all (I truly believe so) want to see JA use his first round draft pick on one of them. Will any of them be there when pick 29...

"Any Given Sunday" = Chemistry & Deception

The old adage of "Any Given Sunday" holds true after countless years of professional and collegiate football. Yet with all the discussions here about what Chicago should draft first and what to do...

Taking a DT in 1st Round??

Drafting Liuget will simply turn the defensive line into a major strength for the Bears. The offensive line actually came together nicely as the season progressed so the need there is not nearly as significant. And this is with Nawrocki still having Sherrod and Banks having Ijalana on the boards.

Kiper ranks Ben Ijalana over Derek Sherrod

Has Bears drafting Ijalana in first round and Sherrod falling out

Replacement for Tommie Harris

10-year NFL veteran, three-time Pro Bowl selection, and struggled in making the transition in Buffalo's switch to a 3-4 defensive scheme.
