Angelo admits we need help at Safety
Back and forth... the story of the Chicago Bears media tales.
We need help, we don't need help, we are trading, we aren't trading, we're open to every possibility... even Jay Cutler was traded.
So what's the next move by the Bears? think you can get into the head of Angelo? Jerry and his ever present cryptic asnwers, sits down and give's his "honest" opinion about safety. Which at the very least, looks to be a decent read, even if afterwards you are left scratching your head, whether he actually gave away an answer or not.

OG anybody?
I present a relevant discussion for anyone concerned about the well being of this team, NOT related to an unnecesssary push to get rid of our top receiving target (See: Olsen, Greg) or our just fine group of wide receivers, but, recent news has come to light that Ryan Lilja has been released.
Some of you might not know this, but Ryan Lilja, is a guard, something we desperately need, and before we jump into the he was cut for weakness on the Indy Oline, he's a far cry better than Frank "what the hell" iyale

Hold the Phone everybody!
Good Morning Bears faithful,
Our prayers have been answered, amidst the slew of possible team signings, the pressing needs our team has at Guard, Defensive Back, Defensive Line...Coaching?... our team went out and picked up two KEY players for us, that will absolutely stem the tide of losing, adding relevant depth along massively depleted positions of necessity... I present to you the newest members of the Chicago Bears:
WR Eric Peterman
Forte for Cromartie?
As much as I highly doubt the Bears will entertain this option, I wonder what the Bears faithful would think about this move, ESPN has a short article HERE about the San Diego Chargers shopping Corner Back Antonio Cromartie for a Running Back.
Forte is a steady back, but is he our future at running back?
We need depth and solidity in the secondary, and maybe the possibility of Chester Taylor winning the #1 role in Chicago could lure him down from Minnesota. anyone wanna bite, and discuss?
Protests of Leadership
As the years of football pass, old fans become older fans, and new fans are born and nurtured into the sportsdom world. Being a fan is so much more than just watching a game, it is an identity, a way of life even. Some peoples’ weeks ride on a win or loss of their own beloved team. Recently this season, angry fans in Buffalo, angered over several losing seasons, paid for a billboard calling for change, and they got it. Now it has been reported that upwards of 21,000 fans came together in petitioning Al Davis to hire a GM, and paid for a billboard to go up, as well. Link
As a Bears fan, I find it unbearable, to watch our team flounder year in and year out, as we are the flagship of the NFL, the old tried and true, black and blue Chicago Bears. Yet we sit idly by almost every January and watch the Patriots, Steelers, and Colts vie for a championship. I wonder if our very own billboard would make a difference. For me, spending all this money on NFL gamepasses, jerseys, autographed memorabilia, and everything else Chicago Bears, pales in comparison to a truly worthy purchase: a voice. We truly can be the fourth phase, and have an impact on this team, for change, to let the Chicago Bears organization know, we demand more, and more importantly, we deserve more.
I don't know how to go about finding an advertising company, but if somebody could, I personally would be willing to put up some dough for a post up, would anyone else, for a change?
"Edge" cut by 'Hawks
here's to hoping no one has the bright idea to suggest we sign him as a compliment *ha* to Forte
CBA Talks
our friends over at mile high, have a really good write up on the CBA talks, if anyone is interested.
Best Tackles in the NFL this year
Interesting read on Offensive Tackles this year in the NFL, lists stats of allowed sacks, interestingly, Pace has allowed 0.5 and Williams has allowed 2
Benson is at it again
Former Chicago Bears running back Cedric Benson is once again running his mouth. for those who don't feel like reading the article via the link, this should sum up what Benson believes about the Bears... oh and he says it's not personal.
“I heard all the rumors that were said coming out of Chicago,” Benson said. “Even the Bengals told me all the things, that they would call and inquire about me and get nothing but negative things. Just that I didn’t work hard, that I was I guess a prima donna or I didn’t work hard on the field, just wasn’t focused, just anything negative that they could say, it was said. I’m sure that contributed largely to me not getting picked up right away.”
Bears Football
Lemme just get this out there... does it seem that no matter what, no player can ever be good enough for us? we sign Cutler and Omiyale and Pace... and what do we say? "But who's he going to throw too?" "What about our secondary" "sign T.O." "Sign Vick" "Sign Harrison"
Almost anyone who was available, at one point or another, someone started clammoring for us to sign. if the fans had it their way, we'd have 95 starters on our team and virtually all the FA Market. And that's nonsense.
4 Quarters of Football, and some of you are ready to chastize and throw Cutler under the bus. It's not like poor QB play is unrealistic in Chicago, but it's unrealistic that we can year after year, root for the Cubbies while they squander away our hopes of winning ANY playoff games ever again, but yet we trash our Bears players, because of one bad outing in the year.
If you compare Cutler to Grossman, please, go watch the Texans, because i'm embarrassed at the fair weather nature, after ONE GAME.
those over at MHR wanna bash Cutler... Really? why dont you just concentrate on the Broncos, and we'll worry about our Chicago Bears, and our QB, his name is Jay Cutler... and he threw more INTs than Orton... enjoy it, it will be the last time this year that our QB is worse than yours.
it's time we remember who we are, the Grabowski's, the working man, and Chicago is a Bears town first, and we run anyone out who doesnt think so
Kevin Jones out for Season
Been looking around for some kind of information on this everywhere since that late hit against the Browns; was hoping it wouldn't be that bad. But it looks like we lost Kevin Jones for the season... I wonder what this means as far as roster spots since he'll end up on IR.
Maybe it frees up a spot for another unlikely wide receiver, or possible gives us the ability to keep 4 TEs?

Best DBs?
Do the Bears have one of the best DB tandems in the NFL, other websites don't think so, but maybe this can turn into a decent topic over here.
Peanut and Vasher definitely once teamed up to be arguably one of the best. do we, talent-wise have the capability to shock everyone and get back to an Elite top 10 level? does it hinge on our D-Line getting penetration? Who do you think are the best?
or is Tillman/Bowman done, and Vasher overrated/washed up?
