Phoenix Suns Free Agency: Breaking Down Their Top Possible Free Agent Targets At Each Position
Now that the Phoenix Suns season has unfortunately come to an end, I know there are many of you who cannot wait to talk/argue and speculate about who the Phoenix Suns will possibly target this off-season. Obviously, I am one of them. The goal of this post is to satisfy those needs, to give the citizens of Planet Orange an into depth look at which top two free agents at each position, one restricted and the other unrestricted, we can expect the Front Office to lay their eyes upon on this summer.

Dwight Howard to request a trade this summer?
What do you guys think? I think it's definitely worth a look as long as we can get him to agree to an extension.
Check out my article from the deadline about possible trade scenarios for Dwight Howard.
Note: Those 2 trades go against all my beliefs in trading Jared Dudley, but it's what it would take. If we could do it without Dudley then it's a STEAL.

Wade and Allen want players to be compensated for playing in the Olympics.
Disgraceful.
They already have more than enough money to begin with. If that isn't doing it than I doubt an extra million is going to fix the problems they speak of.
This is just greed. Playing for your country is a privilege and an honor. I'm not going to feel sorry for these guys.
Dwight Howard?
Orlando said they want a "Denver" type of return for Dwight Howard. I've been thinking, we could give them that.
Trade 1
Gortat, Dudley, Morris, Childress and two first round picks (12 and 14) for Dwight Howard.
Trade 2
Gortat, Dudley, Frye, Warrick and two first round picks for Dwight Howard.
My thoughts:
1. Gortat is better than anything Denver got back.
2. I wonder if two picks are actually necessary?
3. Dudley and Morris/Frye are good role players. I'd hate to lose any of those guys.
4. We can't get Dwight and give up all these role players without giving up a bad contract. That is why Childress or Warrick must be included.
5. I think both offers are on par if not a bit better than what Denver got for Melo.
6. The reasoning for why we'd make this trade now is if the Magic really are going to trade Dwight at the deadline. This may be our only shot at getting him.
7. Of course, he'd have to first commit to an extension.
8. If we did do one of the two deals for him, we may not win the title this year due to a lack of role players, but there will be plenty of role players to sign the following summer.
9. If this was our only opportunity and if Dwight does commit to us, then I'd do it. He's a top 5 player in the league. We couldn't pass up an opportunity like this.
10. LA may be able to give them a better offer.
11. I'm not sure if the Magic have it in them to make another trade with us. You have to admit that it'd be kind of ironic.
12. What do ya think?

So ah, how do we go about building this ELITE team?
Yeah, that's right. PAUL MILLSAP! He is the answer to most of our problems. I know, I know... "Beavis, just shut up, we've already tried to trade for Paul Millsap a thousand times. It's not happening. Get over him man, it's over. Go home. Go. And use a smaller image next time."
1. That image still isn't big enough.
2. All of your trades for Millsap sucked.
3. I surprisingly know what I'm doing, so listen up!
Alright, with the NBA trade deadline approaching, many and many fans across the world have been rosterbating with the hopes of their Front Office somehow, someway improving their team. It's also a time of much rumors and speculation. It's pretty much a national holiday.
This is my rosterbation, this is my speculation, this is my attempt to spread a rumor in a world already filled with countless lies and gossip. This is me celebrating a holiday.
Here it is:
The Utah Jazz acquire PF Morris (4 years), PG Brown (expiring), C Lopez (RFA, right?), Price (expiring) and the Suns 2013 1st round pick.
The Phoenix Suns acquire Paul Millsap (2 years) and Raja Bell (2 years).
Why in the world would the Utah Jazz do this?
Well, I don't know. Like I said, I'm celebrating a holiday. I'll give it a shot though.
Last deadline, the Suns, Jazz and Bulls were involved in a 3 team deal that would land us Millsapy, the Jazz, Lopez and Pietrus, and... that's all we know. Gibson and Dudley were assumed to be involved in this trade as well.
Because Okur just had to go and get hurt, the Jazz no longer have a log-jam. That was the reasoning for them trading Paul. Otherwise, they kind of like the guy. However, maybe they don't see Millsap in their long-term plans? And maybe they want to give more minutes to Favors, so the kid can grow? He can't grow if Sap is eating all of his minutes. If that's the case, we're in luck because we got just the kind of deal for them!
Markieff Morris serves as an immediate replacement. Because he doesn't have all-star potential, he won't be taking a lot of minutes from Favors either. He's young, good and he' on a nice looking contract. Plus, they get Lopez! Some 7 footer with something something something potential, who does cool stuff when surrounded by cool people (Honestly, I don't like the guy, he sucks; thought we should have traded him 2010 when his value was at it's peak). But did I mention that 2013 1st round pick! Yes, I did. How could anyone not named Mike Pringles Dan The Man Tony not want a first round pick? We also take Raja Bell's contract off their hands (really, it's not that bad, but we love the guy and it saves them a "bit" of cash).
In short the Jazz save about 6 million, get a good PF and a 1st round pick for a should be star in Paul Millsap. They get Lopez too, if they want him. If I'm the GM, I feel like this is a good offer, at least good enough to grab their attention and not hang up the phone. I throw in Dudley and it's a guarantee we've got him. That's as far as I can go.
Why would Babs and Blanks do this?
If the Suns want to truly become an elite team, this is a good step in that direction. Once upon a time, $arver said he would acquire assets to trade for a star. Millsap would should have been an all-star this season and would be with Steve Nash. If it takes the above offer to get him, we got to do it. Those guys are just good role players. Losing Dudley and Morris are real blows, I know. However, this free agency may not be full of stars, but it is full of good role players, right?
If not, plan scrapped. In fact, scrap all the plans. We're doomed, game over, Iceberg ahead, ship sunk, the battleship, world ended, alien abductions, Jeremy Lin, racism, war, lockout, depression, regression, oppression, dislocation, desperation, condemnation, isolation, desolation...
Phoenix Suns and Steve Nash: It's Time We Say Goodbye
It's time to move on. It's time to part ways. These past 7 years have been good if not great. It's been a fun ride, filled with many ups and many downs. There's been a lot of good memories, but we can't let them hold us back. I love Nash and I always will appreciate what he did for this Franchise, but at some point you have to have the guts to accept that it's over and move on. We have to let go. Not the memories, but Nash. It's for the best.

Steve Nash Is Taking His Talents To South Beach!
I'm kidding, he isn't. However, LeChoke has been recruiting him via twitter. Both he and Crawford actually. Seriously, what's the big deal about Crawford? I don't get it... Anyway, here's the source.
Maybe @SteveNash in a Heat uni! So we can help each other get our 1st ringThu Oct 27 18:32:39 via Echofon
LeBron James
KingJames
Here's the kicker: Nash isn't a free agent. He's under contract with the Phoenix Suns for 2011-12 at $11.7 million, which will be his final year before free agency. If the Heat were interested, they'd have to trade for him and match his contract with something similar. The only contracts on the Heat's books that are remotely close to Nash? LeBron, Wade and Chris Bosh, who will each make around $16 million next season. Player acquisitions are a complicated animal in the NBA.
Interesting huh? Well it is, that's why I posted this.
Here's my thoughts on why this won't happen though. I'll break em down for ya.
- We can't take anything Lebron says seriously.
- Nash likes to have the ball in his hands...a lot, but so does Lebron and Wade. There's only so many balls to go around.
- It would take Chris Bosh to get Nash and I'd expect a 3rd team would need to get involved. Would the Heat be willing to give him up?
Now, I'll give LeJames credit for considering Nashty. If he were to be traded to the Heat, I would actually be OK with it. As long as we get Bosh and perhaps something or someone else cool from that rumored 3rd team (according to the sources from inside my head). I'll admit it, I don't like Chris Bosh and I've always thought he was overrated, but I'd rather end up with him than nothing. Hey! Now that I think of it, we could trade Steve for Chris and use him to help us lure D-Will next off season! I'm probably getting ahead of myself there, but that's why I post this kind of stuff.
Which leads me to the trade machine. Anything you do with that likely isn't going to work out due to this lockout crap, but that hasn't stopped me.
So what can we take from all this?
I'll just tell you myself. Lebron has had a lot of success in recruiting people. We of all fanbases should know this because after all, it was the Suns who helped the Cavs land Shaq and Jamison. Two very bad moves (for them), but nonetheless, Lebron was the guy who said go get em. Now that I've remembered that, I think it's safe to say that Miami is officially a possible destination for Steve Nash, but at the same time I doubt he'll end up there for the reasons stated above.
By the way, did you guys see Nash's new clothing line?
Phoenix Suns Losing Cash And Possible VC Trade?
As we all know, the first two weeks of the NBA season were canceled...to no surprise. I found an interesting article by Paul Coro explaining all the moneys current Suns players would lose within that time period.
Steve Nash: $962,929.
Marcin Gortat: $559,229.
Josh Childress: $494,117.
Channing Frye: $461,176.
Mickael Pietrus: $436,470.
Hakim Warrick: $354,118.
Jared Dudley: $350,000.
You can read more about it here: http://www.azcentral.com/sports/suns/articles/2011/10/19/20111019phoenix-suns-nba-lockout-salary-lost.html#ixzz1bL91rsCn
Personally, I don't care.
However...
Vince Carter is not included, although he is technically still a Sun, because it would be insane to pay him the $18 million salary on the last year of his contract when it is not fully guaranteed. The Suns negotiated an extension on the deadline to waive him and pay him the $4 million that he is guaranteed. The full salary now would become guaranteed on the new start of free agency, whenever that may be. Until Then, the Suns created a window to explore trade options once league business resumes. -Coro
I hope that clarifies the current situation with VC better? Concerning the last sentence, I previously didn't know about that. For some reason I had gotten the idea from others around here that Vince couldn't or was unlikely to be traded because it's not what the $arver has in mind. I suppose I just misunderstood?
You guys might also want to check this out. Nothings official, but even the possibility that they might have new Suns unis in the works is probably the most exciting news I've heard since the lockout began on July 1st. I'm not expecting to hear anything more on it anytime soon, but still... I'm excited:D
So what do you folks think?
Oh, and from now on I will be including a link to the trade machine in my articles to encourage more rosterbation. You're Welcome!
NBA Fan Voice: We Stand United! Let Us Watch!
I'm not going to talk about why I love basketball or how I became a fan. This is a message to the owners and players of the NBA.
Listen Players and NBA dudes (That means you Stern!), we the fans know. We know who you are. We know and we didn't have to ask, you showed us. We know you're just a bunch of super rich guys arguing over every last penny you can get your dirty paws on. We see your egos, we see your pride, your greed and we're not impressed.

It's YOUR Job To Trade Steve Nash!
Let's say the lockout ends and Stern gets what he wants. It's now late October, 2011. You're the GM of the Phoenix Suns and Sarver walks into your office and says, "Hey, trade Steve Nash!". What do you do? What do you say? Do you trade him and who would you trade him for? Pretty simple, isn't it?
Yep, it's one of those posts, so get out your TRADE MACHINE and get to work! Remember, this is a reality. YOU'RE the GM now. How did that happen? I don't know, it just did. Nothing you can do about. That means you can't leave for personal reasons. YOU'RE STUCK and Sarver is your boss. This is your life now.
Again, this is real, so realistic trades only. I know, it'll be a tough task. I mean, how many realistic trades for Steve Nash are actually out there? Well, it's your job to figure that out.
Now, what if you decide not to trade him? Then tell us why and give us your plan.
Preview/Game Thread: France Vs. Spain, Gold Medal Game!

That's right! We've got some actual basketball to watch. The 2011 EuroBasket Tournament. Yeah, I know what you're thinking, "This is a boring event, just a bunch of amateurs...". Wrong! How many NBA players can you spot in this photo? Yep, four! And as you can see, one of them happens to be the great Boris Diaw in typical Doris fashion. Brings back memories, doesn't it? See, this is no amateur event, its got pros.
Now hit the jump and I'll give you the info.
The Most Dramatic Phoenix Suns Playoff Series You've Ever Seen!
Can you believe that it's only been around five months since the Phoenix Suns last played a game? Can you believe that Grant Hill will soon be 39? Can you believe that Lou Amundson is no longer a Sun? Can you believe that Vince Carter is still a Sun? Can you believe that Steve Nash has yet to be traded? Can you believe that we are over a year removed from our WCF's appearance?
Too be honest, much of that is hard for me to believe. I miss Lou Amundson, I hate the lock-out, I hated last season, and these past 5 months have felt much longer. I need some actual Suns news!
It's gotten to the point to where I've unintentionally started dreaming about them. It's like my mind is trying to compensate for the lack of Sun in my life!
Seriously, I had a dream where the lock-out was canceled and the regular season was like only 1 game. Q was back on the team and Corey Maggette was starting at SG. It was weird, but they were both in their prime and playing very well. The team was running again and it was really fun to watch. I didn't understand any of it, but it was really cool! We made the playoffs too. Then I woke up to reality, the worst game ever....
But enough about dreams! Due to the lack of any news, I've had much time to look back and reflect on the past history of our Phoenix Suns. The 07 series for example, it was the most dramatic series of my life, and that is what this post is about.

Video Breakdown: We need more Sun
Are you bored? Are you Sun deprived? If so, get up, go get some comfort food, sit-down, relax and watch these vids.
But first, hear my words.
I find it ridiculous that team websites can't even show pictures of their current players, yet they can still list the roster? What point is the NBA trying to make? Why don't they want us to see our players? Stupid sausageheads! Screw them!
As for myself, I am not a sausagehead. I may be a butthead, but I'm really just Beavis, a man of simple taste. I like food, soda, pizza, peace, happiness, fun, love, women and most importantly My Phoenix Suns (which if you haven't noticed kind of includes all of that). So listen up Stern you Notorious Windbag, stop sulking, get off your butt, go get ya bruddas and work out a deal!
Note: I lost some nice vids ever since the lock-out due to some copyright crap. I blame David Stern. Not sure if he's the reason why, but I'm going to assume it is anyway, because I want to.
With that said, keep in mind that as you watch this, you'll be watching some footage that David Stern doesn't want you to see nor remember until he is a richer man, so enjoy;)

Nets to try "Real hard" to get Dwight Howard
I wonder how hard Sarver will try?
Dudley's hitting the weight room.
I'm sure many of you already know about this as it's a month old, but I didn't until now.
Kings Coaches didn't want Jimmer
Maybe we could trade for him?
The 2011 NBA Playoff Contest Round 3!
Here we are, Round 3, Final picks. These playoffs have been surprisingly good, haven't they? Who would have thought that SA would have lost in the first round to the Grizzlies and that Dallas would have swept the Lakers to make the WCF's? Not sure who they'll play yet though, so if you guys need to post twice than that's fine. I'm not sure when the first game will be. The Chicago Bulls host the Miami Heat 8:00 P.M. ET on Sunday. Lets just go with that deadline for now and get our picks in before then.
Remember, this time you get 8 points for each correctly guessed series winner and 2 bonus if you guess the # of games each series went to. You also get 5 points for guessing the bonus questions. I already have your finals picks, so yes these are the last picks, it's do or die.

Also, your Finals and Finals MVP bonuses don't change as well as your tie-breakers, so you don't need to re-post them.
Here are your 3 new bonus questions.
1. Which team will have the highest margin of victory in a single game for round 2?
2. How many upsets will there be?
3. Which player will collect (not average) the most assist?
Here is an example of what a 2nd round entry would look like.

Phoenix Suns Player Evaluations: '10-'11: Trade Lopez!
Welcome to the fourth piece of the 2010-11 Phoenix Suns Player Evaluations. We here at Bright Side of the Sun have assembled an opinionated and seemingly educated cast of writers to put together alternative views on the players, front office, and coaches. Your favorite and least favorite Suns will no doubt get plenty of attention, and the fuzzy compliments or scathing criticism they deserve. Unless we're talking Garrett SIler. Nothing but love for the purest example of the effects of gravity...Onward, playas:
I'm going to be blunt. Robin Lopez was a major disappointment this season. He sucked. Big time. We all know this, so I'm not going to go into depth on his player evaluation for the 2010-11 season. He got an F, we know that. Besides, with the exception of a few games, there was nothing exciting about Lopez's season anyway.
Instead, I'm going to determine why it is he regressed, his true potential, if he has what it takes to reach it, if he can reach it and why the Phoenix Suns should trade him.

The 2011 NBA Playoff Contest
For the Phoenix Suns their season may be over, but for the NBA the real season is only just beginning. It is a time when heroes are born and stars shine. A time of sadness and joy, happiness and heartbreak. It is what separates the boys from the men and the contenders from the pretenders. It is, The NBA Playoffs!
Now, I know many of you may not be so excited and I definitely understand. Because since 1980 the Suns have made the playoffs 25 times which is an incredible feat, so it's kind of hard to not feel disappointed or to even be excited for these playoffs when the Suns aren't in it. I mean without the Suns who will be the lovable underdog that falls in dramatic fashion? NO ONE! I'm sorry, but nobody else can do it as well as them. Nobody can replace the Phoenix Suns. It's just not the same...
What's the Playoffs without the Phoenix Suns? Not awesome, that's for sure. I mean it's ok..., but it's not awesome. Again, I'm sorry, but the Suns are responsible for 40% of the NBA's awesomeness. That's a huge chunk, take them out, take Nash out, take Dudley out and what are you left with? The Celtics, Lakers and some guy named Rondo (most overrated player ever), BORING! Yea, what are the playoffs without this and this and this and this and this! NOT AWESOME!
So what are we going to do? What can the people of Planet Orange do from now until the draft? Is there any way we can enjoy the playoffs without our beloved Suns? Yes and yes.
Here is what I propose...

Game Recap: Suns Beat T-Wolves 135-127 In An Overtime Thriller!
Not bad. Not bad at all. I thought the players had checked out? I thought I would see a boring game with no intensity and passion? Instead, I saw ten players who love the game. I saw ten players who weren't willing to just lie down, take their paychecks and call it a season. They played and fought, not for money, but for the sake of basketball itself, for the love of the game.
Those ten players are: Steve Nash, Grant Hill, Channing Frye, Marcin Gortat, Jared Dudley, Anthony Randolph, Luke Ridnour, Anthony Tolliver, Martell Webster and Michael Beasley.
I'm impressed. Being the second to last game of the season and perhaps the year, I very much enjoyed it. I don't know what to expect against the Spurs in a couple days, but I consider tonight's game the encore of the season. For the Suns, their season had pretty much ended a couple weeks ago, but the players decided to go out there and give it their best. They put on a show and it was good one, a performance worth watching. I'm grateful I was able to witness it.

Game Preview: Phoenix Suns Vs. Minnesota Timberwolves
Well, three more days and two more games until the Suns will be packing their bags, cleaning out their lockers and goin' fishin'. Yup, the end is near, just three more days of misery and it will all be over.
I'll be honest with all ya, it's been real hard to watch these past few games. The team has mentally checked out and when that happens the games become less entertaining or rather boring to watch actually. Yet, we still watch them anyway, (sort of) because we love the team and want to support them. That doesn't mean we'll be mentally checked into them, but hey thus is life when your team sucks.
There are reasons to be cheerful though. Yes, things are bad in Planet Orange, but there's always a bright light at the end of the tunnel and I can assure you that that bright light is not a train.
Phoenix Suns Visit Minnesota Timberwolves 5PM AZ Time
It's the end of the season as we know it and I'm not fine.... Lets face it, no playoffs, Suns are done, it's over. Is it even worth our time to sit back and watch these remaining, meaningless games? Why bother? What's the point? Is there one? The Suns suck and if Scott Howard is right which he unfortunately tends to be, then their future may suck too.
Yet, for some reason I still find myself having to say in the voice of Ferris Bueller, "You're still here? It's over. Go home. Go."
...and nobody listens.
Maybe that's just because it's me (doubt it) or it's because true fans love their team and will fall and rise with them no matter what. Well, I think it's because...actually I have no ideal, so I made a poll.
Anyway, I got some good stuff for you guys today, so check it out!
Suns Fall To Kings 113-116
Just another typical Suns game. They played well enough to give themselves a shot in the end, but came up short.
The game was pretty straight forward from the 1st quarter through the 3rd. The Suns managed to hold a small lead through most of it, but never gained any separation. There was a whole lot of offense played, but no defense. Both teams shot over 50% and took and made a near even number of free-throws. Once again the Suns lost the rebounding battle 39-50. That was the killer as well as their inability to make a shot down the stretch. It was 110-109 Suns after Dudley hit a jumper from the right wing with about a 1:10 left to go and than Thornton hit a three to put the Kings up 112-110. Afterward Frye missed an open three and the Kings shot free throws. Suns lose 113-116. It's not surprising when you see that four of their final attempts were from the arc and none of them went in. Live and die by the three they say....
Go to give it to the Kings, they wanted this one more.
So much for dignity...
Suns @ Kings Game Preview 7PM AZ Time
Things aren't all that grand in Planet Orange these days and why would they be? The Suns aren't making the playoffs, they can't close out a game, their franchise player may leave in the off-season, Marcin Gortat hurt his nose, Robin Lopez hasn't gotten any better, VC sucks, Warrick still sucks and really this season as a whole has just been one big disappointment.
The FO failed to replace Amar'e Stoudemire and keep the best bench in the league together. Because of that we are now seeing the load that has been put on Steve Nash to carry a team without another star, finally take a toll on him.
Phoenix Suns Resigned To End Of Playoff Hopes, Lose To Mavericks 91-83 - SB Nation Arizona
"It feels like it's over, just because we haven't played as well or won games so it's disappointing, but it's been disappointing all season," Steve Nash said after the game.
"We're a team that's had so much change this year that I don't think we know where we are yet. We're still trying to learn who we are with all the new pieces. We have five guys left from last year. It's been hard to really get on a roll or momentum without commonality."
Now there's speculation that Steve Nash may ask for a trade this coming off-season and it doesn't seem so far fetched anymore, does it?
Suns Lose Triple Overtime Thriller To Lakers 137-139
Tough loss, very tough to swallow. The Suns had multiple opportunities to win this one, but couldn't get it done. It was a good game nonetheless. It may have even been the best game all season. Too bad the Suns were on the bitter end of it. The better team won.
This loss pretty much sums up the story of the season for these Phoenix Suns; getting off to a decent start, falling away, making a comeback, taking a brief lead, giving it up again, fighting to get it back and never giving up, but falling short in the end.
Their record now stands at 35-34 behind the 37-34 Rockets and 39-32 Grizzlies who hold the 8th seed. When you look at teams like the Grizzlies you'll notice that they've managed to play through injuries (losing Rudy Gay) and upset some very good teams such as the Thunder, Mavs and even the Spurs. The Suns have been unable to do that losing close ones to the Thunder, Mavs, Lakers and even the Rockets and Hornets in recent weeks; can't say they haven't tried though.
Playoff chances are looking pretty dim and the Suns just can't seem to get that miracle when they need it. It doesn't mean all is over as they still have a chance and I'd be surprised if they just laid down and called it a season. They'll fight to the end because that is who they are, the Phoenix Suns.
Suns Vs. Lakers Game Preview: Phoenix Suns Taking Their Talents To Hollywood! 7:30PM AZ Time On TNT
We all know the Lakers (50-20) are a very good team; they're the defending champs and have been for the past two years. The Suns on the other hand are nothing more than a mediocre (35-33) team trying to make the playoffs. Unfortunately for them, these Lakers stand in their way.
They've won 12 of their last 13 games with their lone loss coming to the Miami Heat. Now before any of you pessimists start counting this one as a loss you should know that the 2010-11 Phoenix Suns have actually put up quite a fight vs. this squad. Yes, the Lakers won 2 out of the 3 winning both games in Phoenix, but the Suns have given them fits taking each game down to the wire.
Suns Vs. Nuggets Game Recap: Nuggets Beat Marcin Gortat 116-97
Well, that sucked. This game gave me deja vu while the Nuggets gave the Suns a good old fashion butt-kicking. They came out strong, set the tone and played great defense. They defended the PnR very well, trapping Nash and Brooks out on the perimeter which forced many turnovers. They played with hunger and focus that led to good anticipation on their rotations which led to a lot of steals. Got to give them their props. Yet as good as their defense was the Suns just made a lot of sloppy plays. For a team like the Nuggets who are young, versatile and athletic; you don't want to turn the ball over against them. It didn't help either that the Suns couldn't buy a shot the entire night.
Key words for the game: Flat, Sloppy. That's how the Suns looked and played.
Suns Vs. Rockets Game Recap: Carter, Warrick Lead Suns past Rockets 113-110
What a game! I tell ya these Rockets always give the Suns a good fight; one of the best match ups in the league!
With no Channing, no Pietrus in a must win game someone had to step up. Hakim Warrick decided he'd be that guy. We knew this was a team he could dominate, but who could know he'd play this well? How many thought he'd have a career high of 32 points? I certainly wasn't expecting that. Warrick wasn't a lone though. There was another player who helped carry the Suns tonight and his name is Vince Carter aka Half-Man, Half-Amazing!
It was Vince who hit timely three after timely three to keep the Suns in the game and the pressure on the Rockets. It was his energy, passion and aggressiveness that brought the Suns back into the game after being down by 11 in the 2nd Quarter. Surprised? After the OKC game, perhaps not, but the fact that he was the one to put this team on his back, lead them out of a double digit deficit and take control in the clutch was at least surprising to me. He showed a lot of heart tonight and deserves much props for his amazing play. Thank you Carter and thank you Warrick!
