I have presented most of these ideas before, but I decided to start my own post to see what peoples opinions are. The first move I would make would be trying to pry a pg away from minny and swap picks making them sweat over the fact we might draft Johnson leaving them with two bigs that would log jam their front court. Get minny to trade Jonny Flynn and the 4th pick for the nets 3rd pick and 31st, Then I would discuss with Memphis a trade of Harris and CDR for Mayo and their 12th and 25th pick, The Nets would have a Core of Flynn, Mayo, and Lopez, now for the draft picks

#4- Derrick Favors

#12- Luke Babbit

#25- Daniel Orton

#27- Avery Bradley

In free agency we now have a chance to sign 2 max free agents, i would sign both bosh and James, then some vets, Id bring back Trent Hassel, and Keyon Dooling

So here is the line up I have accumulated for the nets

PG- Flynn, TWill, Dooling

SG- Mayo, CLee, Bradley

SF- James, Hassel, Babbit

PF- Bosh, Favors, Humph

C- Lopez, Yi, Orton

bench would go- TWill, Favors, Yi,Dooling,  CLee, Babbit, Orton 

This team under Avery turns into a playoff contender right away, give it a year and you have a championship. No team would be able to compete, its all about the right chips falling the right way, but all of the trades and drafts I have presented are reasonable situations. Id like to hear thoughts on other people ideas for offseason plans, all insight is appreciated

why couldn't the nets move him to PF at the same time use the 3rd pick to get Cousins. In the east we need someone big who can battle the likes of Dwight Howard, and Cousins is going to be the guy to do that, Brook can be an all star pf, very similar to that of Duncan and Gasol. Doing this eliminates the need for us to sign a PF in free agency. Keep Devin Harris at PG, he is still a very good PG,and if you surround him with talent he plays better. At sg i would keep Courtney Lee, he can be a streaky 3 point shooter which would work perfect with this line up. The SF is where the nets would need to spend the most in free agency. Drop the bank for Lebron, and he will be that superstar that turns this team into a championship contender. TWill can come off the bench as a Manu Ginobli type, the x factor on championship teams.
